Experience description:

I had an amazing dream but it was so much more. I have never had anything like this happen to me before. I was having surgery done on my stomach area. While I was under anesthesia I was able to talk to God. It was all telepathic. He knew I was there and I knew he was there. I didnt see him or anything, all was black but I said ' God show me what heaven is like'.. right then and there my soul blasted out of my body ,up, up .. I remember seeing the city from up above and up through the clouds..higher and higher until I was in outer space. I saw galaxies, stars and nebulas surrounding me. It wasn't creepy as you would think when you think of space. There is no words to describe how I felt. It was more peaceful than the most peaceful thing you could ever describe. I was like a baby in their mothers arms. I felt whole and comfortable. Note: This is not like the heaven I imagined in my Christian upbringing. Even the God was different than I imagined. His love was all encompassing. I have since read a lot of NDEs and some are very similar to my dream. I wonder if God was communicating with me. It stays with me every day and I don't have such a fear of death as I once did.
