Experience description:
I
had two experiences with the supernatural, one I call the 'demon' experience'
and the second I call the 'angel' experience.
The two experiences happened about 5 years ago.
The first experience started when I was at a friends house.
One night I started to feel this 'energy' in his apartment.
I asked my friend if he felt it and he said that he did as well.
The strange energy would come and go, and this is a sensation I still get
to this day. The following day I
woke up and again felt this weird feeling.
I began talking with it (something I believe now you should never do).
I asked what I believed was an 'entity' to move a small object on table.
To my surprise it moved almost immediately after I had asked.
Scared, I left the apartment and went to my parents house.
That night, I continued to feel the strange feeling although this time it
got even stronger. At one point it
got so incredibly strong that I began to get terrified as it felt like I was
being suffocated by this energy.
Then in front of me appeared what looked like a demon.
It was black and red in color, about 5-6 feet tall, had two arms, two
legs, and a head. If I were to
describe what it looked like I would have to say it reminded me of the Balrog
from Lord of the Rings. It
disappeared very quickly, but the energy continued to get closer and closer to
me. Right then, I heard in front of
my face, a sound that reminded me of a bull exhaling right before it would
charge at you. At this point I
yelled at it to 'GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!!'
After that the energy receded.
Then something really cool happened.
I saw a white orb appear in the corner of the room, it must have been the
size of a volleyball, and then it slowly faded away.
I like to think that this was a guardian angel watching over me during
this terrifying experience.
The
second experience I had started when I was waiting to go to work one day at a
hospital. As I was sitting on a bench, I
was thinking about God inside my head. It
was almost like I was having a conversation with God where I was asked a
question and I nonverbally gave an answer.
The first question that came to me was 'what should you do in any given
situation?' To which I nonverbally
replied 'you should do the will of God.'
Then another question came, 'what if you don't know what the will of God is?'
To which I replied, 'then you should do
whatever you think will do the most good for the world.'
Right after I thought this and elderly African American man walked up to
me, looked me straight in the eyes and said, 'Do you know how many thousands of
people don't do that? They always see something wrong in doing what is right.'
Then he walked away and I never saw him again.
Somehow this man knew what I was thinking, which makes me think he must
have been an Angel walking among us.

The Demon and the Angel

Uncertain
I seemed to possess a 6th sense which I call
'sensing' where I can tell if a supernatural entity is near me.

special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?

experience that you did not have prior to the experience?
Yes I
can sense energy, it is really hard to describe but it is this weird feeling I
get that I never had before my experience.
Its like I can just tell that something is near me in the supernatural
dimension that we cannot see with our eyes.
Did you have any changes of
attitudes or beliefs following the experience?
Yes I became more religious/spiritual
after my experience. I read a lot of NDEs
and gain insight from them. I pray a lot
more as well.
How has the experience affected
your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?
I thought about changing careers
but as of now I am still a teacher. I
wish there was a career in Near Death Experiences as this is something I am now
extremely passionate about.
Has your life changed specifically
as a result of your experience?
Yes I am more spiritual/religious, more
generous and more loving. I try to
emulate love everyday and bring more love to this planet.
Have you shared this experience
with others?
Yes Most people are sceptical
about the experience, some are receptive.
I try to tell as many people as will listen because I believe this is part of my
mission here on earth.
What emotions did you experience
following your experience?
Extreme
happiness knowing that there is life after death, however I also have sadness
because I feel 'stuck' in this physical existence when I know there is something
much better waiting out there.
What was the best and worst part of
your experience?
The worst part
was seeing the demon, but even this was pretty amazing because it confirmed the
existence of the supernatural. The best
part was meeting the Angel who could read my mind.
