EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION

 From the age of 6 years I have experienced dreams and visions of current and future events of my own life.

It started with a dream of a swimming hole. Lots of children jumping into and playing in the water. The exact dream would not repeat. The place would. There was a dirt track and lots of long grass over head height. Occasionaly some of the children would go through the long grass, over a railway track, to another swimming whole.

2 people would stand out and be in each vision. A young blonde girl about 5 years younger than I was, and a woman aged around her 50's wearing a black floral dress.

These visions continued through my childhood. The girl got older and the woman stayed the same, wearing the same dress.

Sometimes there was something in the water and no one would swim

Sometimes they were inside a house and I could see a picture of a flower on the wall, near some black figurines on a bookshelf.

When I was 26 years old I met a 21 year old girl and we instantly felt a connection. I saw a photograph of her as a child and she was the girl from my dreams. I described the waterhole, the house and the woman to her.

The waterhole was a place she used to swim at with cousins regularly. When the water level was low the eels used to bite them so no one would swim.

The house was the one she grew up in.

But she did not know who the woman was, untill she mentioned it to her mother.

The woman was the girls grandmother. Who had died in 1980. Wearing the exact dress she was buried in.

A few years later she was told she couldn't have children. We had been trying and I had seen us with children in the visions. A day came when she was going to see a naturopath to help. I had woke from a vision of her in hospital with a child on each side of her.

I told her that morning to do a pregnancy test. While I was at work I recieved a message saying the test was positive.

During the pregnancy I was getting many visions, mostly showing a distorted face. I would also get songs stuck in my head. (With or without you, where the streets have no name, one tree hill, I still haven't found what I'm looking for). The songs were all from an album called 'the joshua tree'. We called our son Joshua because of this.

Before our second child was born I got similar visions with her in hospital with 2 children. The only thing was I kept seeing a girl. She would stick her face right up in front of my eyes and tell me her name and that she was our daughter and she was coming soon.

We had a boy.

This was 12 months ago now and I keep seeing visions of this girl.

The last one I had was the most interesting of all.

I was at a birthday party and everyone had just started to sing happy birthday. I was leaning up against a couch watching everyone at the table. Suddenly I had a pain in my chest and I fell to the floor, everything went dark for a moment, then when I could see again I was looking down at myself. Someone was checking my pulse and breathing and then they said 'he's gone'.

After that everything went dark again and I could hear a beating sound and wooshing noises. I felt a lot of pressure around my head then there was a very bright white light.

I closed my eyes and when I opened them a young woman walked over to me and said  'he's awake'. She said it like she was talking to a baby.

The same woman is the one currently telling me that she is my daughter.

There have been many more visions.

They usually start with a light buzzing sound that gets louder, then a grey cloud appears and opens up, then I see the vision. I have mentioned the ones that I feel have had more importance. I hope this information is usefull.

 Any associated medications or substances with the potential to affect the experience? No     

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words?          No     

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event? No     

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?      Half asleep. Felt awake but couldn't move

            Was the experience dream like in any way?  No. Everything felt, tasted, smelt, looked, sounded real.

 Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?  Yes    I would try to move and succed but when I looked I couldn't see my hands or when I lifted my legs I couldn't see them.

 What emotions did you feel during the experience?         Calm

 Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?         Buzzing. Like an electrical noise.

 LOCATION DESCRIPTION:  Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing creatures?   No     

Did you see a light?        Yes    Very bright white

 Did you meet or see any other beings?         No     

Did you experiment while out of the body or in another, altered state?         No     

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?         Yes          I heard a voice telling me someone was having a baby. A few days later they called. My wife told her she was pregnant. before she told us.

 Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?           No     

Did you become aware of future events?      Yes    100% accurate. Except our 2nd child was a boy. It showed me a girl.

 Were you involved in or aware of a decision regarding your return to the body?          No      Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did not have prior to the experience?         No     

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience? No     

How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?   I just go with the flow. I don't try to make the visions happen. They just do.

 Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience? No     

Have you shared this experience with others?       Yes          Surprised. Excited

 What emotions did you experience following your experience? Happy

 What was the best and worst part of your experience?          Knowing the future.

 Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience? Not at this stage.

 Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience?    No
