Experience description:

My experience is short and profound. My son was born after a very difficult birth and the second I held him after I looked in his eyes I drifted off and saw light, then I saw MYSELF (my face looking at and admiring him) through HIS eyes just for a few seconds, about 10 seconds total. It was incredible and I was wide awake due to the magnesium I was being administered to prevent a seizure from the high blood pressure as magnesium makes you feel like you are literally on fire. I don’t know if I was in between the space between life and death or if this experience was simply meant to bond me with my newborn son. Either way It stands out in my mind far beyond the notion of a dream. It actually occurred and it was a beautiful and serene ten seconds of pure love.

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness?      More consciousness and alertness than normal   Everything was brighter and my sight was almost blurry like that of a newborn’s but I could clearly see my own face and eyes through my son’s eyes
