Experience description:

This was a shared experience involving my twin sister and me. I had a dream in which I saw an extraordinary light surrounding my sister. At nearly the same time, my sister was awake and witnessed an unusually bright light in her bedroom. We didn't realize the connection between our experiences until we talked the following morning.

My Dream

On the night of October 11, 2026, I had a dream that began normally. A couple of friends and I were driving in a car, but somehow one friend and I ended up in what I thought was my sister's bedroom. We were talking about our other friend when I noticed my sister staring intently at the wall above an old stereo.

She seemed completely absorbed in something and was ignoring us. She was smiling and laughing when she suddenly said to the wall, "I know. You make me laugh!"

I turned my back to her and smirked at my friend, thinking my sister was deliberately ignoring us. But as I looked at my friend's face, his entire head became engulfed in a brilliant glow.

I whispered, "Your head is glowing! Your head is glowing!"

Somehow, I knew the light was coming from my sister and whoever she was talking to. I was frightened to turn around and look. Finally, I slowly turned toward my sister and saw a large ball of glowing light on the wall above the stereo. The light also surrounded my sister's head.

The moment I looked directly at it, the glowing ball of light receded into the wall, and the room returned to normal.

My legs began shaking, and I could barely catch my breath. I knew, or at least felt certain, that my sister had received a visitation from Jesus and that he was the one she had been talking to.

I desperately wanted her to tell me what Jesus had said. Instead, she turned toward my friend and me, and without anyone saying a word, all three of us embraced in a hug.

Then I woke up.

The clock read 11:25 p.m. I sat in bed, stunned, with my heart pounding. I had never dreamed about Jesus before, and the experience had affected me deeply. I considered waking my sister to tell her what had happened, but something made me hesitate. I wondered whether she might be having an experience of her own, so I decided not to disturb her.

My Sister's Waking Experience

My sister later told me that she woke up at 11:28 p.m. that same night because she thought she heard me walking down the hallway toward the bathroom.

She turned away from the clock and noticed an extraordinarily bright light coming through her bedroom window. Strangely, she thought she was looking at the gap beneath her bedroom door, as though the hallway lights had been turned on.

She continued staring at the light, wondering why I needed so many lights just to walk to the bathroom. The light appeared to be shining through the closed blinds and blackout curtains covering her dormer window, but she still believed she was looking toward her bedroom door.

By approximately 11:40 p.m., the bright light was still visible. She began wondering why I had been in the bathroom for so long and considered getting up to investigate. The light was so intense that she couldn't understand how so much illumination could be coming from inside the house.

Then the light gradually faded. Only afterward did she realize that she had been staring at her dormer window the entire time, not at her bedroom door.

Her blackout curtains were still completely closed, just as they had been throughout the night. Yet the extraordinary light had appeared to shine right through them as though they weren't there.

The Following Morning

The next morning, I told my sister about my dream. As I described the glowing light above the stereo, I realized that she actually had an old 1980s stereo positioned against the same dormer wall where I had seen the light in my dream.

When I pointed this out, my sister suddenly remembered the extraordinary lights she had seen coming through her window during the night. She told me that she had awakened at 11:28 p.m., only three minutes after I woke from my dream.

We compared our experiences and realized that we had both witnessed an unusually bright light in the same area of her bedroom at nearly the same time. My dream had ended at 11:25 p.m., and her waking experience had begun at 11:28 p.m., with the light remaining visible until approximately 11:40 p.m.

Neither of us had known about the other's experience until the following morning.

What makes this so extraordinary to me is that I saw the glowing light in my dream, surrounding my sister as she appeared to be communicating with Jesus, while my sister independently witnessed an intense light in that same location while she was awake.

I cannot explain what happened, but the experience was unlike anything I had ever dreamed before. The fact that my twin sister also witnessed something unusual at nearly the same time makes it even more meaningful to both of us.
