Experience description:

I was a young child, I think about 4 or 5 years old. I didn't feel well one night and crawled in bed with my parents.  At some point in the night I vomited. I only know this because I was removed from my body and saw it occur from some point high enough I could see it occur. I could see my parents sleeping on either side of me and myself between them.

I don't remember anything of the events preceding the evening or after, Just what I described. It has been a firm memory ever since.

There was another event when I wasn't much older. But it took place at a random time while I was awake. I was probably 6 or 7 and had come inside from playing outside probably with neighbors and friends. I had gotten a plastic yellow cup and put some water in it and was walking through my house headed back outside when suddenly I wasn't in the moment but separated and watching myself walk through my home and head outside from another point in the home. There was no sickness involved or any other extreme circumstance that I remember. Just a few fleeting moments of memory from a point of view that wasn't 'first person' but an onlooker.

 What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?    in the first situation I was asleep. In the second I was awake and walking

            Was the experience dream like in any way? i dont remember it like a dream. It is in my memory as an experience.

 Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?         Yes    I don't remember seeing myself. Only viewing those around me.

 What emotions did you feel during the experience?           I do not remember any emotions I had at the time. Nor do I remember reacting to the experience.

 Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?         no

 LOCATION DESCRIPTION:  Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing creatures?           No

Did you meet or see any other beings?         No     

Did you experiment while out of the body or in another, altered state?    No     

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?        Yes    My parents verified I did get sick and vomited in their bed at night

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?              Yes    I seemed to be in the home I was in. I didn't leave it.

Were you involved in or aware of a decision regarding your return to the body?     No      Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did not have prior to the experience? No     

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?         No     

How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?    It hasnt

 Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience? No Response        

Have you shared this experience with others?           Yes    It has become a story I tell when the conversation comes up but its not a point of influence, only to make the point that the experiences can happen.

 What emotions did you experience following your experience? I dont remember any

 What was the best and worst part of your experience? I dont recall a best part. I do remember thinking when i saw myself lying in the bed with vomit that my parents weren't aware and were not reacting.
