Experience description:

1st experience- (20.12.2002)I was sleeping, dreaming about walking in my suburb, when I understood that I was actually sleeping. When I thought about this I remembered about traveling out of the body and this thought as if pushed me with a great force out of my body. I panicked and struggled not to go out, I went out just the half of me, seeing my legs, and then went back.

2nd experience- (23.12.2002) In my dream I was awakened and went out of my body. I panicked again trying to switch the lights on and to wake my brother in my room but couldn't do anything. I was too afraid to look at my body. I told myself to relax and go out in front of the block. I went through my window and started falling to the entrance. I got scared of being killed like that. I even saw in my imagination the image of a drawing with chalk like that when someone falls and dies. I got awfully scared. I wanted to go back to my body but found myself floating above it. Then I projected the same image on the floor of the room, I fell on it first and then got back in my body. It was then when I found it hard to wake up.

3rd experience- (16.01.2003)I woke up in my dream leaving my body quickly. This time everything was different. I wasn't scared anymore. I was somehow prepared. I had made a decision about where to go if it happens again. I went to some friends of mine. They were sleeping at the time. They are a couple. The man usually works night shifts, he was there, and in the morning I checked them and he really was there. However, I was in their sleeping room. I tried to throw a frame of a picture but couldn't. I only felt the cold glass. I went out. There was a fog and I couldn't see much. Then I told myself I wanted to look around. All of a sudden it all became clear. It was a sunny day. There were a lot of people, talking, shopping. The place was the same without blocks, but with houses. But the streets were the same. There was a tree, which was very strange, I have never seen something like it before - an ordinary tree, but with different leaves - very though, they resemble the leaves of the bushes that are cut in a square form. I floated above the people and then I found myself on a different place. It was gloomy, there was a lot of mud, there people but they looked strange. they were working. All of them were wearing brown clothes. I saw a woman with a head of a fish. This was the strangest of all. I then went back to my body.

4th experience - (26.01.2003) I went out of my body but couldn't see anything. I told myself: Clarity now! but couldn't see again. There could have been a fog again. I reacted stupidly by opening my physical eyes, which brought me back in my body. I regretted it a lot.

Any associated medications or substances with the potential to affect the experience?     Uncertain

I think that mediation could make OBEs happen, but I didn't do any then, I am now practicing some methods I made up by myself. I am still experimenting

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? No

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          Uncertain

Well, on one of my OBEs I found it very hard to wake up, I was in my body again but couldn't wake up, I moved my astral head on both sides, looked through my closed eyelids for 1 or 2 minutes, but I finally woke up. It could have been deeper than expected.

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?           I am absolutely conscious during my OBEs. I can see, feel, hear, I have never experienced smell or something like that. I control myself and decide what to do. I know it is not a dream, it is more like wakening.

Was the experience dream like in any way?   No, in no way did I feel it like a dream

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     Yes

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            In my first two experiences I was very scared, filled with terror, but in my third experience I was happy and enjoyed floating.

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?           I sometimes hear sounds and only once presence, but I am not sure about the last thing.

LOCATION DESCRIPTION:  Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing creatures?    Yes

Did you see a light?           No

Did you meet or see any other beings?           Yes

I've described them above - my friends, the talking people and the strange people in the dirty muddy place

Did you experiment while out of the body or in another, altered state? Yes

When I went to my friend I hadn't seen them for more than 2 weeks. I knew that the man was going to work at night but couldn't possibly know or predict when was he due to work. One other thing. On a table they have in their room usually stays just one picture, but that time i saw more things on it. I went the other day to check and everything passed perfectly - the man was sleeping there, he wasn't at work that night, and there were other things on the table as well including a vase I had only seen in another room by then

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?          No

They were sleeping. I cannot prove to have heard anything at all.

Did you notice how your 5 senses were working, and if so, how were they different?          Yes

my vision was blurred, My touching was better I think, I am not sure but it was very impressive.

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?   Uncertain

I don't understand the question

Did you have a sense of knowing, special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?    Uncertain

I didn't feel any special knowledge, there was no one to tell me where to go or what to do

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?             Uncertain

I don't understand the question again but I want to tell that I tried to travel very far away and couldn't. I felt I couldn't go that far at that point. i wanted to go on the other side of the world. I felt it like swimming right to a stream and not moving at all, or moving very slowly. I gave it up then

Did you become aware of future events?       No

Were you involved in or aware of a decision regarding your return to the body?       No

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did not have prior to the experience?         Yes

Very strange thing happened to me. But only in the days after these happenings. I could hear the tram very clearly before it being seen in the distant view and knew exactly where it was going to come from. I heard a song once in my brain and just a minute later they played it on the TV. I saw a man in front of a house with the focus of my sight, but he wasn't there. He came out 2 minutes later and stood where I saw him.

The strangest thing of all was when my phone rang and I heard a very sad crying. It was awfully sad, I didn't hang up because I thought it was a friend of mine who wanted to tell me something but still wasn't able to speak. It was only crying. It continued 30 seconds. Then my brother talked to me. He later told me he rang me but he couldn't hear anything for 30 seconds - the period I could hear the crying. That night I had the same dream three times and each time I woke up in the night. The most terrifying thing was when I woke up by a touch on my hand. It was so real, I woke up and didn't go to bad that night again.

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?   Yes

I know that everything is so different than what I had thought it was before. I know I have much to learn and have a my future ahead to do so

How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?       I don't know if I have to believe in God. I know he exists but I know he is not in the form I am used to think he is. I don't know if he pays any attention to us. Robert Monroe says he doesn't interfere in our lives.

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?         No

Not yet but it will, I hope I will not pay attention to the little sad thing in my life from now on because I know there are many more important thing to care for. I am not scared of death and accept life like a school for me

Have you shared this experience with others?         Yes

I've told this to some of my friends but nobody trusts me. Only my mother believes me fully.

What emotions did you experience following your experience?  Great sense of understanding how much I have to learn, I now know that I know nothing :) I felt happy and thankful that this happened to me. I will meet my boyfriend early than expected now.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?      the worst was feeling unprepared at first, and terror, But the best was freedom, floating, happiness, but the feeling of freedom was the greatest

Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?        no, I think I mentioned everything. Well, these experiences were the ones when I left my body. There were many occasions when I felt the vibrations but for one reason or another couldn't leave my body. I once felt a very strong pain in my foot,  the strongest I have ever felt. It was just after one of the OBEs. This is all.

Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience?         No

Did the questions asked and information you provided accurately and comprehensively describe your experience?               Yes

I told everything completely honestly and didn't tell many things I was not sure about.
