Experience description:

I went to the recovery room,, several hours later I developed a temperature of 107.4 I began the process of dying.

9/95 - hospital course: blood cultures showed that the diagnosis was gram-negative sepsis, and this responded to antibiotic treatment with initial gentamcyin and then later fortaz..,,

During this time which was only minutes I was in and out of consciousness. As I closed my eyes and open them, I was at home . I was at the top of the stairs but I seemed to be taller than I actually am, When I looked into our bedroom  I saw my self laying there, I looked dead,, then in an instant I was in the bed.   Cathy asked my "do you know where you are" I said yea the hospital and I was at the hospital. then as quickly as I closed my eyes I was home again and this time Cathy was arguing with the neighbors about Brutus barking,,, in an instant I was back at the hospital,, they had brought my temperature down....... 2 months later I went to court for that night because my dog was barking.

But even through all this and during those brief moments of being at home there was Peace, a very peaceful presence
