Experience description:

After reading about out of body experiences, they seemed to be what I had experienced as a child. I remembered that if I lay completely still I would begin to have the sensation of floating.  As I read, it stated that I could pull myself out of my body when I felt the vibration or as I began to float. I lay completely still in my I began to feel the vibrations. I pulled myself out and looked down at my husband and me. I walked into my living-room and I was trying to focus on my mother and going to her house. Then I saw my 6 year old daughter was on her way to our room. I remember thinking that I needed to get back to me before she got there. Then, feeling a little humorous, I reached down to slap me on the butt. But I got scared when my body got up and stood next to the bed and I was still out of me. I closed my eyes and said get back where you belong and when I opened my eyes I was standing next to the bed back in myself. I dont know if I was sleep-walking or not. I dont have a history of it. So, I tend to think it was real. I have tried several times since then but have been unable to do it. Mostly, because I am usually the first one in bed and I need it completely quiet.
