EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION

For context, I was about 18 years old (I am now 40), and had recently been prayed for because I had a pretty wicked lifelong fear of the dark and other things... So, one night I was dreaming, and in this dream I was running around an expansive, bright, wide open space. There was an enormous beautiful fountain in the center that, although quite simple in design, was made of something like glass-smooth white quartz or marble, as was the floor. The fountain had a ledge that wrapped all the way around for sitting and a large clear plume spouted robustly. It seemed that every single person I'd ever met was there; some were sitting quietly on the fountain ledge, while many stood in small groups chatting idly. I, however, overcome with something like glee, was running up to every individual, grabbing their shoulders and shaking them with excitement while repeatedly exclaiming, 'No fear!!! NO FEAR!!!' I was running around because I was FREE. I was completely free, felt better than I ever had in my life, and was just exploding with pure joy, excitement, astonishment, and awe! I wanted to share it with everyone so this went on for quite some time - I probably said it a hundred times to a hundred people. I cannot say that anyone was moved by my proclamation, but I was ecstatic! I had never felt so wonderful! One part that was odd, that I haven't figured out why yet, is that my dad was there twice. One version of him was sitting on the fountain's edge in his work clothes; the other version was standing nearby in a very dapper tuxedo. Anyway, this fantastic dream finally ended and I awoke. My eyes were wide open as I watched a beautiful thing float up and away from me. Completely naturally and unphased I stared as it glided midair across the room and right out through my bedroom door. It was a glowing orange sphere of light that had a tall crown of dark gold intricate filigree like stuff at the top, and more of the same stuff at the bottom, but more at the top. If I had to estimate, it was around 18' tall, and the perfect ball of light that was situated about 2/3 down was perhaps 9' across. It was definitely alive. It's parting impression was that like a humorously-cocky 'you're welcome.' I believe it was a soul, and although I'm not sure whose, it absolutely gave me a taste of pure, pure, pure freedom that I will never forget. I also never experienced any one of those old lifelong fears again.

LOCATION DESCRIPTION:  Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing creatures?           Uncertain     The place I dreamt about was like nowhere I have ever seen

Did you see a light?         Yes    Orange, softly glowing sphere of light with a personality

Did you meet or see any other beings?         Yes           First many known people in the dream, then one unknown 'soul' that allowed me to experience 'no fear.'

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?        Yes    Only personally - that I had lived with fear prior to this experience, and have not since.   

Did you have a sense of knowing, special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?           Yes    I understood this light was alive, had a personality, and had given me a very precious gift

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did not have prior to the experience? Yes    A few things before, many more after.

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?         Yes    Yes - I've experienced no fear!

How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?           I'm sure it has in many ways.

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience? Yes    I am no longer afraid of the dark or the unknown, which at the time was incredibly difficult for me.

Have you shared this experience with others?           Yes    I only really talk about these things with those I think will relate, appreciate, or understand.

What emotions did you experience following your experience? Awe. Much more peace and inner strength in my everyday life.

What was the best and worst part of your experience? Feeling that free was the best. Seeing the people in the dream so unreceptive and unmoved was sad.
