Experience description:

I was asleep in bed and my dream became lucid. It began with my walking across a room. It was quite shadowy and I began to feel a little nervous. I didn't know why as normally I'm quite fearless. I saw a girl sitting at a window and I knew instinctively that she was an earthbound spirit. Despite my nervousness I knew I had to speak with her. I approached her and she said that her name was Honor...she was very sad. I asked her if she wanted to move on ..away from the dark room. She said, yes. I asked her if she had anyone on the other side who could help her. She said that her grandmother had passed on and that her name was Edith. Suddenly the right side of my head went numb and I heard a woman's voice saying hello. She said she was Edith. It was like a telephone line, but I didn't know if she could see us. I asked if she could help someone move on and she said 'yes'. I realized as we were talking that she hadn't realized that I was talking about her granddaughter Honor. When I told her this, she became quite distressed and said, 'oh, that was a hard thing to deal with'. She obviously hadn't dealt with her granddaughter's death. I asked Edith if there was anyone with her who could help her adjust and accept Honor's death so that she could be ready to help Honor move on. Edith said yes, that Caleb could help her deal with her pain. The line faded and I woke up in bed. It was so clear and their names will stay with me forever. I hope that they were reunited in happy circumstances.
