So I had nothing to fear, I told to myself that if this were Paradise, then I was to meet with my forefathers only! I am not ill or in a coma, I cannot be dead. I felt as if I were in Paradise! So happy and free, as if a heavy weight had been removed from me. This is like the feeling I might feel on top a greenish hill, asleep on my own under a tree and breathing fresh air while exploring the landscape around, but 20 times more intense. Faces have a body but it is rather blurred, like white smoke! I would not say they are persons because they don�t move on the ground, and I recognize some people smiling to me! I don�t remember their face but I know I already met with them somewhere in my life.

As a Catholic I believe in Paradise, and when I awoke I thought that Paradise was like this! I had a glimpse of what expected me! There were only men and women faces, no animal! Despite the white smoke around them, I think they wore white robes but it was blurred, very much so. When I awoke, I was comforted because I didn�t go the same way these faces went!

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? No      

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          No       But I feared that mum would die!

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness?    All the time, I was alert and conscious that these are only �dreams� and not my current state, but I was happier than ever in real life

Did your vision differ in any way from your normal, everyday vision (in any aspect, such as clarity, field of vision, colors, brightness, depth perception degree of solidness/transparency of objects, etc.)?  Yes     Very soft lights pleasant for my eyes, whereas I usually do not even bear daylight, colors are very suitable only green, brown (earth path) and white (faces� blurred robes)

The view field is not as usual, because this place was very vast, there was no mountain or valley to be seen in the distance, but there were pastures and a unique earth path.

Did your hearing differ in any way from your normal, everyday hearing (in any aspect, such as clarity, ability to recognize source of sound, pitch, loudness, etc.)?            No      

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     Uncertain

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            Freedom, supreme happiness, hope, I was happy

Did you pass into or through a tunnel or enclosure?          No      

Did you see a light?           Yes     Only lights around �faces� which were glowing but bearable for your eyes

Did you meet or see any other beings?           Yes     They went to a procession, they were numerous. Yes I knew most of them and I was happy to see them again, but I don�t know whom or where?

Did you experience a review of past events in your life?    Uncertain      Only faces of people who know me and whom I know too. I believe this is Paradise and I shall go there in a distant future. I also learned that there is a life other than on Earth and dead people live there in joy and happiness

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?          No       But I had a premonition that a relative was to go to that place and I was only there to see and watch the place where she was to go, to make sure she will be happy in this place

Did you see or visit any beautiful or otherwise distinctive locations, levels or dimensions?           No           

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?   No      

Did you have a sense of knowing special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?     Yes     Yes there is a more pleasant life beyond ours and I don�t have to fear death anymore.

            All I knew about NDEs is what most people experienced during surgery. But I did not know then that my mother was to undergo surgery! But unconsciously I did not stop telling her about my NDE at that time! I warned her that if somehow she had surgery, she should not stay in that place or go through tunnels or even follow a light� She just listened to me and smiled

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience you did not have prior to the experience?     No      

Have you shared this experience with others?         Yes     That very morning, most people say I watch too many movies, my cousin already dreamt about a somewhat similar world, but she did not know it was a near death experience because she�s not much educated.

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience?    Yes     I did not know the word, but I had heard somewhere (mainly in movies) that to go to Paradise, some people go through a tunnel or a bright light after they die! 6 or 8 months afterward; in a magazine I saw a picture of a man who opens a door and there is a light behind. The page was about death and paranormal phenomena! Then I read the article and memorized the experience name: NDE

How did you view the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:            Experience was probably real    I believe God warned me that death was about to take a relative of mine, but I had to remain strong and believe what I had seen because that person was to go in a place as peaceful as the one I had seen, and that person shall wait for me with many others whom I know, in order for us to live a life better than on Earth together.

How do you currently view the reality of your experience:            Experience was definitely real    I believe it is affective contagion, and if this happened to many people, then it is definitely real. It is just not scientifically proven yet, this makes it a paranormal experience for me

Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience?         No      

Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?        I was in a normal state (good physical and mental health). I am convinced it was a NDE though.
