For whatever reason, I felt this strong power from my chest sucking me out of my body. The force was not natural. It felt like the mixture of going down a steep hill on a roller coaster and being sucked up like a vacuum. I had never felt such power and force before and have not since.  Before I knew it, I could see myself from 360 degrees in the middle of the room with my body still on the couch. My spirit or mind was in the center of the room , but I could see my spirit from all sides hunched like I was sitting in the middle of the room.

I was scared to death, and somehow the entire experience lasted only a miniscule of a second. Something inside of me resisted the force, and I was thrown back into my body with equal force.

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? Yes, The force at which I left my body, and the reasons why it happened.

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?           very alert

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     Uncertain

I could see myself in the middle of the room from 360 degrees dressed in the same clothing that my physical body had on. My physical body remained on the couch.

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            Fear

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?           no

Did you experiment while out of the body or in another, altered state? No

If it happened again, I think I would let it take me where I wanted.

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?   Yes

I felt like intense energy and have always felt that if someone where in the room they would have seen at least my body on the couch and moving into the center of the room.

Did you have a sense of knowing, special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?    No

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?             Uncertain

I don't know if it was a boundary, but I did use "my might" to pull myself back so I definitely had the control to return to my physical self

Did you become aware of future events?       No

Were you involved in or aware of a decision regarding your return to the body?       Yes

Yes, I had control over it. I forced my way back and returned with the same force used as when I left my body.

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did not have prior to the experience?         No

It was a force that I could not describe in a million years.

How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?       it has not

Some people believe it, and some don't saying that I must have dreamed it. The physical force of leaving my body was real

What emotions did you experience following your experience?  It really scared the heck out of me. I can't explain it.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?      Having it occur was the both the best and worst part about it. It was scary, yet I know it happens.

Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?        I figure we only use a small portion of our brain capacity, and whatever waves were happening in my brain( alpha/beta or whatever occurs) was at the right level for my spirit or mind to leave my body.
