Experience description:

I was seven years old and at school. I was in the classroom when the head teacher came in and said that a boy with her was going to join the class mid term. She said to him, would he like to pick out any child in the room to look after him to show him round the school. I knew without fail that he would pick me. it filled me with horror that I would have to do this as I was profoundly shy and lacked any confidence.

I eventually showed him round the school rather badly I guess but I then realized that one day I was going to have to grow up and become a man and do these difficult things.

I walked into the playground the sun was shining on the grass and trees it looked beautiful. It was then that I felt that I wasn't in my body and I didn't exist as such, the trees turned into atoms and molecules and were dancing around each other I felt full of elation and bliss. When the experience was finished I knew that I was different from the other children at school and I had a job to do to understand what was really going on in my life.
