Experience description:

I myself had no physical problems but a recent new acquaintance on base had began to have an epileptic seizure.  I was walking down a sidewalk heading for the location of this new acquaintance when I had the OBE twice showing me that he was having a seizure. I was approximately 1/2 to 1 mile away when I heard the sirens of the ambulance which triggered the experiences. My consciousness left my body still walking and traveled to his location twice.

At first I thought I was crazy but it happened a second time. I didn't know what a OBE was at the time so I thought it to be a vision. I also thought it to be my brother at home ( He had Epilepsy and I knew how to help him) at first then had the second vision and I wasn't nearly so shocked and realized that I was experiencing a flood of vision and knowledge of knowing everything (past present and future) but when I returned to my body I couldn't retain that knowledge. I felt very limited for a moment . I could see all around me at the same time. I ran to see this new friend . When I got there , the ambulance  people were bringing him out.

I asked them to stop for a moment to say a prayer over him and then they took him. At which time I never saw him again. I did remember his room which I had never been to before the OBE and it was as I remembered in the vision but in a restricted manor. I don't remember the name of this airman nor the other person that was sitting at the card table when all this happened.

My friend new acquaintance was the transit barracks chief where I first came to the air base. There I stayed for 2 or 3 days then I moved to the 3-92 Security Police Squadron . There I was when this new friend called or I called him ,I don't remember which way it was. I told him that I was going to the local on base hamburger joint to get a hamburger and he asked me to bring him one and he'd pay for it when I got there. I said Ok and was on my way there when I heard the siren and had the experience that I will never forget.

Only three things have ever happened that could be nearly as traumatic to me.  I have had several obe's but I'm extremely afraid to let them happen again.  Once I saw myself dead laying on a gurney at which time I was clinically dead at Parkland Hospital and once I saw my dead brother at the same hospital. Once I was attacked by something that that was evil and it tried to possess me but my angelic friend told me how to expel it. I did and this thunderbird looking thing screamed as it was forced out of my body and hit my bedroom wall the thing tried to resist me but I forced it thru the wall into a deep black abyss. As it was being forced backward into the abyss it screamed until I could no longer hear it anymore. then my wall closed up the abyss and I was so traumatized that I went to the bathroom to see if I was dreaming or did it really happen. This unknown spirit or angel had also disappeared the moment the wall closed up. It looked like semi-visible apparition that spoke to me .  I still occasionally hear this person or being call my name in a soft voice similar to my mothers. but I have never seen her again. I have had numerous slight partial OBEs which I stop because of my fear of never returning.

I have never tried to have an OBE. They always happen without any notice.  Now I usually have this to try to happen to me 1 to several times a year.  less and less frequently.

Any associated medications or substances with the potential to affect the experience? No      back then before I enlisted I had tried pot but never started the habit. Now, I'm on a number of medical drugs for hypertension, water retention, and lately since several deaths in the family I take Paxil for my nerves.
