Experience description:

I was sleeping on my back and i was very comfortable. I was at my mother's house which is in the middle of the country next to a soy field. I had only been there for about 3 days so my surroundings were still pretty awkward. The bed was in the middle of the room, the end of my bed towards the south. I woke up in the middle of the night (which i actually did every night that i stayed there) and felt very comfortable. My mind felt kind of "fluttery". I looked 'unintentionally' at the end of my bed.

Crouching on the floor at the end of my bed I saw a girl  with brown hair and eyes. wearing this brilliant white shall with an aura of gold around it. Actually The whole body was in the pretty, earthy gold aura. she was facing towards the window which was to the right of the bed. Her profile looked like mine which is pretty strait as well as the complexion (I didn't realize it until i started thinking about it more) and her eyes were looking towards me. So it was kind of creepy. The feelings i felt were weird. I didn't know if i should be afraid of this person or not. My mind had no intention of what it was feeling. Its kind of unexplainable.

I blacked out for a moment and the next thing i knew i was awake again on my back but this time the girl wasn't there. I started floating upwards and my whole body was vibrating with numbness. I was looking at my feet and i could see my body moving upwards. The noise i heard was a once again 'vibrating' silence. Usually i would be afraid of this and i would stay awake, but i just fell back asleep after. The next morning i didn't know if what had happened was a dream or an alien abduction or and obe. I thought about it for like a week and realized that the girl at the end of the bed had a remarkable resemblance with me. The numbness and the silence and the vibration feeling kind of haunt me, but i think its because i'm pretty unsure of the whole experience. I've never had an experience like this, and it was more than likely triggered by my emotions ( i think). All in all it was pretty cool.

Any associated medications or substances with the potential to affect the experience?     No

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? Yes

I was confused and that's mainly why. I didn't even (still don't really) know if it was an Obe. The person i saw at the end of the bed; I believe was me but, it was really the feelings that made it hard to describe.

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          No

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?           Fluttered, definitely on a higher level though. There was something missing from my normal consciousness.

Was the experience dream like in any way?   Only because i slipped in and out of sleep

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     Yes

Very glowing. I wasn't thinking through the 'being or me?' it was all done inside my physical mind. She had brown hair and brown eyes with a fair complexion just like me. She was wearing a white glowing shall. For a moment i thought it was the virgin mary.. (it wasn't though)

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            Fear, confusion, alertness, separation, ease.

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?           Vibrating Silence. Almost like when your listening to a blank tape..sometimes you hear a couple clicks.

LOCATION DESCRIPTION:  Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing creatures?            Uncertain

If it was me at the end of the bed, "i" looked more "holy" than i thought i was. More like a spirit being i suppose.

Did you see a light?           Yes

The glowing gold and white aura around the body

Did you notice how your 5 senses were working, and if so, how were they different?          Yes

I remember because they weren't working. All i felt were emotions and numbness.

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?   Yes

I don't know if i can describe it, there aren't really any words to do so.

Were you involved in or aware of a decision regarding your return to the body?       Uncertain

I remember floating, but i don't think My "physical mind" had something to do with it.

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?   Yes

I didn't know i was capable of having an obe, whether it was intentional or not.

How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?       It hasn't affected it yet, it will. But its more so that i just keeping thinking about and i'm trying to put it into a place with my relationships and practices and such.

Have you shared this experience with others?         Yes

My one friend who is pretty clairvoyant was excited and told me about her experience except she only remembers the floating part. The other just said, neat. He isn't really into that kind of stuff.

What emotions did you experience following your experience?  confusion, deep thinking, Connection, afraid.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?      The best part was when it was over ( i enjoy it now, i was more confused then) The worst part was feeling completely unable to move my body. The Vibrating noise and numbness was kind of scary. I felt almost helpless.

Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?        i've had some bad experiences with 'black' spirits as i would like to call them. And the reason why it freaked me out so much is because if it was a black spirit; I had not come across one that has actually been able to allow me to remember being taken out of my body like that. I just don't know if it was my doing or another spirits.

Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience?         Yes, I just keep thinking about it

Did the questions asked and information you provided accurately and comprehensively describe your experience?               Yes
