Experience description:

I was in a sound sleep when I was suddenly awakened by a loud drumming sound in my ears, it stopped and I opened my eyes and all I could see was what looked like rocks going by my face several feet away, like I was slowly falling down a old well, when I looked down the direction I was going I realized I was floating down a long dark dank tunnel with a light at the end. I willed my self to turn my body so I could walk and my position changed but my feet never touched the ground, as I moved down the tunnel I was checking out the walls and they seemed almost to be alive. there was a pulsing low light coming out between the stones. I told my self this must be some weird dream. finally after what seemed to be forever I came to the end of the tunnel and I entered a round room with stone walls and ceiling and a raised dais with 3 or 4 steps leading up to it. and standing there was Jesus Christ like you see in the movies, in robes with a beard and his arms outstretched and welcoming me. as I floated closer he said to me come with me and you will have all you ever desired.  and I thought that wrong! why would I want everything I desired. after all , all I need is what I need not what I desire. and while I am thinking this I am still moving closer to him, and then it hits me, a smell that is hard to describe in words. just pure filth like a million years of unwashed bodies. now I am only about 3 feet away and still moving closer so in an instant I knew who ever this was it sure as hell wasn't Christ and just like that he changed to a beast or demon or maybe even the devil himself. and with out giving it any thought I punched him right in the face, my fist went thru with some resistance like I was punching real weak rubber or something like that its really hard to explain. but once I pulled my fist back I new I was in trouble. up to this point I thought it was just some real weird dream. but now I was very scared and I cant explain where all that fear came from it was like I was feeling the fear of others, so I stepped back and for the first time I could feel the ground under my feet and the ground was cold and wet. I tripped and fell backwards down the steps I had only moments earlier floated up. now I was laying on the ground and looking up at this thing and he was pissed. it was then that I realized I was in deep shit, and I also realized we weren't alone in that room, I never saw any one else but I could since other things behind me. but I was watching the thing in front of me. he started toward me but then a white light came thru the ceiling of this chamber and it surrounded me and lifted me up like a giant hand. the second the light touched me all the fear left me and I noticed that all the pains in my body also let I wasn't cold or wet or tired, as a matter of fact I never felt so good in my life. I kept going up and up until I was high up in what looked like clouds. I stopped and I just knew that I was with god. I felt so happy and carefree t is hard to explain but I knew that I never wanted to be any other place, so I started to look all around so I could look into the eyes of god. but I saw nothing but clouds. I kept thinking please let me stay. please. then I heard a voice that said simply. all will be well. and then I started to go down from the clouds and toward what I could now see was my dead body. I really didn't want to go back. but I entered my body and it was cold and empty. then I could hear slowly at first and quietly a drumming sound it got stronger and louder and I realized it was my heart beating again. ten the pain started, every muscle in my body was cramped and every inch of my flesh was pins and needles. but after about an hour I was warm again and back here. the only good thing about coming back was that I no longer suffer from arrhythmia.  I run 5 or sometimes 10 miles a day hoping to die from a heart attack so I can go back, but so far no luck.

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?            I was 100%

            Was the experience dream like in any way?  in some ways it was. but I have never seen such clarity of color and I have never smelled anything in a dream before or since.

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     No         

What emotions did you feel during the experience?          curiosity/fear/ wonder/ utter joy/complete peace of mind

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?          no

LOCATION DESCRIPTION:  Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing creatures?        Yes    Jesus and the devil. but this place was cold and damp and dank not like I have read about hell.

Did you see a light?         Yes    the first light led to a room the second one saved me

Did you meet or see any other beings?         Yes    and it wasn't the kind of thing I would ever like to do again

Did you experiment while out of the body or in another, altered state? No     

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?         No     

Did you notice how your 5 senses were working, and if so, how were they different?     Yes    they were the same as always

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?  Yes    time seemed to feel different, I cant really explain it.

Did you have a sense of knowing, special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?     No     

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?           Yes    I couldn't go any higher

Did you become aware of future events?      No     

Were you involved in or aware of a decision regarding your return to the body?          Yes    but I couldn't stop it

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did not have prior to the experience?           Yes    I sometimes hear beautiful music then I will have a vision of something that will happen soon. this usually comes over me in a wave of energy

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?          Yes    I am not afraid of dieing. as a matter of fact I pray every night to die.

How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?       I find it hard to have a strong relationship with anyone. and since then I have studied many religions but it all leads back to paganism.

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?       Yes    I don't fear nothing no more.
