it is 3:55pm 3 days later, just when I had almost forgotten about the event a few days prior. we were driving through the mountains of Arizona heading towards the grand canyon for a day of sight seeing when while I was driving, it happened again, but this time much faster than before. I was awake again but driving a car on the highway. I felt as if I was being pulled out of my body but this time it freaked me out so much I had to slam on the brakes and pull over. I got out of the car because I felt I needed fresh air, this time I felt I had no control of my breathing and felt I was dying again. The first thing I was aware of was that I had an over coming feeling in my shoulder as if I was being yanked out of the drivers seat through a tunnel being pulled upwards to heaven. I remember just looking at the beauty the mountains held and thought to myself wow how beautiful they were, although I had been looking at them for a couple hours prior to this and never saw the beautiful colors or lights. next I felt that electrical tingle go through my body but much stronger than the mild streams that had been flickering through at different times of the day and very mild, I had been feeling these for the last couple days ever sense the first experience a few ago. then I was ok again.  but now concerned.

At the time of your experience was there an associated life-threatening event?   No 

Was the experience difficult to express in words?  Yes     I know what I felt had to be what it is like when we die. I have never had this happen to me prior and was lost for answers and was scared to death in my heart. It was hard to repeat what had happened because I felt she thought I had lost my mind or something.

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness?    during the whole thing, I tell you I was wide awake. This why I am here looking for help.

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness?      Normal consciousness and alertness   I was awake and very much conscious

Please compare your vision during the experience to your everyday vision that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience.   as mentioned above. I felt like everything was normal and felt as if I had control of my body until I was pulled upwards both times, then sent back with such force  being let go from above and sent back to the kitchen where I was standing when it started then all of a sudden I could not stand/ or hold my own weight with my legs once I got back in my body and back to normal then I fell to the ground getting a carpet burn on my elbow.  To help explain my body I was like an uncooked spaghetti noodle- standing strong and solid. but then when it was over I felt like a cooked spaghetti noodle- limp and life less for a few seconds. I was not sure if I had just died and my body had hit the ground.

Please compare your hearing during the experience to your everyday hearing that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience.   I heard nothing during the experience but my own voice saying no god no. please no, then I was slammed back down to my body where I started questioning everything. I had a feeling of questioning just what the hell just happened. but now it has happened twice I need answers.

Did you see or hear any earthly events that were occurring during a time that your consciousness / awareness was apart from your physical / earthly body?   Yes   a described above I saw and knew I was leaving my body as I felt the tunnel was getting smaller and my vision was slowly becoming a fine pin point end of the tunnel and I could not hardly see my home or where I was standing in the kitchen, my dogs were fading away as I saw them sitting on the floor looking up at me floating away. I know in my heart I was going.

What emotions did you feel during the experience?   fear, fear so much that I felt I was never coming back. I cried...  

Did you pass into or through a tunnel?   Yes   what I saw was a tunnel that spun slowly in a cork screw fashion as if I was going down a drain but going upwards. the tunnel was slowly closing and getting smaller at on end. I saw a light but not directly as it was behind me. I think I was afraid to turn around and see what had a hold of my shoulders pulling me upwards backwards.

Did you see an unearthly light?   Yes   as mentioned above I will try and describe it a different way it was like I was in a tornado at the top of the tornado and the bottom was my body, the funnel or tunnel was getting smaller at the base the further up I was pulled. I knew there was a very bright light behind me, but I never turned or was turned towards the light, because I wanted to hold on to what I felt was my life on earth and was afraid to look anywhere but at my standing body at the bottom o the tunnel. I was so afraid I remember that I had grabbed a hold of my girl friend and told her not to let go of my hand. I could sense the bright light behind me pulling me.

Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice?   I encountered a definite being, or a voice clearly of mystical or unearthly origin
I could feel hands on my shoulders pulling me from the ground, almost as if someone had grabbed me and pulled me from my stance on earth, I felt lighter than I had ever felt.

Did you encounter or become aware of any beings who previously lived on earth who are described by name in religions (for example: Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, etc.)?   Yes   I can only say what I felt and I felt it was someone taking me to god because it was my time. I say this because when I felt the hands on me it was not a feeling of harm but comfort, love, peace, and it was ok. but I did not want to go and was scared. I believe in my heart that it was because I begged god and he let me stay both times. It is the next time I fear!!!

Did you encounter or become aware of any deceased (or alive) beings?   No  

Did you become aware of past events in your life during your experience?   No  

Did you seem to enter some other, unearthly world?   Some unfamiliar and strange place
it felt as if I was some where in the middle of where I was heading, some where I was not ready to go to yet.

Did time seem to speed up or slow down?   Time seemed to go faster or slower than usual
time slowed down, yet at the same time I felt time was over.

Did you suddenly seem to understand everything?   No

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?   No

Did you come to a border or point of no return?   I came to a barrier that I was not permitted to cross; or was "sent back" against my will
I say I was sent back because when I did come back it felt as if I had been sent back a lot harder than I was lifted from my feet. I just remember when I came back I had no control of my mussels in my legs and my body was so heavy I crumbled to the ground hitting my elbow on the carpet as my body rubbed across the ground when my legs gave out due to the force back.

Did scenes from the future come to you?  No 

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness suggesting that there either is (or is not) continued existence after earthly life (�life after death�)?   Yes   I now know 100% in my heart and mind that there is a higher being after death. I have always believed in god, but now am convinced of a place after we die of comfort and belonging. There is no doubt in my mind of that now.

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that God or a supreme being either does (or does not) exist?   Yes   I can only say I felt I was begging god to let me stay and then I was back. I was to a point I feel that I was seconds from dying with a point of no return due to the force of the pull I felt, being pulled to the heavens. I even for a second thought or felt a sense of it was ok, to just turn around and go to the light but then I got real scared as the light was getting brighter and I was starting to not be able to see my body standing nor the room I was in any longer  below in the bowls of the tunnel below but I wanted to go back, this is when I stared begging god to let me stay.

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that you either did (or did not) exist prior to this lifetime?   No

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness regarding earthly life�s meaning or purpose?   No  

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness regarding earthly life�s difficulties, challenges, or hardships?   No  

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness regarding love?   Yes   I felt where I was going was beautiful and full of love, I had a strong feeling of peace and comfort but because of the uncertainty of what was happening I was scared once I realized I was dying or may not be coming back. I truly felt it was not time.

During your experience, did you encounter any other specific information / awareness that you have not shared in other questions that is relevant to living our earthly lives?   Yes   I felt very cold when I came back both times. the second time while driving when it happened it was odd, this time I felt the bright light was glowing from my head on the way up and now wonder if that is why I did not see it the first time, and felt it was a bright light behind me when I felt the hands pulling on me. I now wonder if the so called light is my soul as it travels up.

Did you have a sense of knowing special knowledge or purpose?   No

How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience?   I remember the experience more accurately than other life events that occurred around the time of the experience  

Discuss any changes that might have occurred in your life after your experience:   I feel odd pains in my body and seem to have and odd feeling of a small electrical impulse that travels through my chest and notice clear dots/spots almost like grains of sand in my eyes when they are open. its hard to explain. I am not sure if it is that I am now just scared or more in tuned but I feel I am on borrowed time. I feel I was allowed back for some reason, but I do not know what it is and I have this feeling I have to hurry to find out what it is I am supposed to do.

Did you have any changes in your values or beliefs after the experience that occurred as a result of the experience?   Yes   now know there is a place were go with a much higher being, and feel I will go to heaven.

Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience?   Uncertain   I just feel as mentioned I am now on borrowed time.

Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you?     the closer I got to the top of the tunnel, I started feeling other hands grab a hold of my shoulders. When it first started it was a feeling of only one set of hands on me, but when I got closer it felt as if there wee several sets of hands moving from my shoulders down the whole length of my arms pulling me. Like I said the closer I got the more pull/force I felt from above.

Have you ever shared this experience with others?   No  I am too embarrassed to talk about it. I don't want anyone to think I am nuts.

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience?   No  

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:   Experience was definitely real   I have not been able to make sense of what happened and fee I am lost for answers, because I know this was real. I was awake during the whole thing both times living my normal daily life.

What do you believe about the reality of your experience at the current time:   Experience was definitely real   I am not the type of person that, well lets just say any time I have ever heard ANY stories from others in my life I thought to myself as they were talking... nut ball... but now I know for a fact first hand something is watching over me.

Have your relationships changed specifically as a result of your experience?   Yes   I can not share this part as it s too personal, sorry.

Have your religious beliefs/spiritual practices changed specifically as a result of your experience?   No  

At any time in your life, has anything ever reproduced any part of the experience?   Uncertain   when it happened for the second time 3 days later after the first experience, I thought this same thing and could not put any connection to me doing anything the same to trigger it. To be honest it was if any thing completely different events in a different location when it happened the second time.

Is there anything else that you would like to add about your experience?   ever sense the event I feel more tired than I used to and feel like my body is heavier almost like I can feel the weight I carry as I walk, hard to explain. Almost as if I am more grounded as I walk.
