suddenly, I was pulled upward into a bright gold tunnel and I found myself seated in a large room, at the edge of a large group of people. they were surrounded by a mist or hazy cloud and I could hardly make out their faces.  Beyond them, there was a glorious group of men also in the haze or fog. 

I suddenly was at utter peace with myself, and l felt unconditional love there. I knelt down and felt great love, compassion, charity, beauty and glory. All the group and myself were praising the lord and singing or saying praise god in the highest and forever more. it has been the greatest experience of my life to be there in this holy place and be forever praising the lord. I will never fear death again, as I now know where my home in heaven will be. 

in that holy place (asleep in heaven) all earthly time and concerns had disappeared and I wanted to stay there forever. all my earthly problems, concerns and worries evaporated and for the first time in my life felt utter peace and contentment. 

suddenly, I felt that I had reentered my physical body and was back standing in the middle of my living room. with amazement, I realized  that I had experienced a type of near-death experience and will forever be grateful for that short time I experienced the glorious life ahead of me and others too with the heavenly hosts.

At the time of your experience was there an associated life-threatening event?   Yes  uncertain, I wanted to take my life due to my mental state

Was the experience difficult to express in words?  No     the experience was not difficult to express in words, because it was so real and an other worldly experience that I have ever felt.

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness?    there is no way to evaluate time as we know, and there were no time constraints either, just eternal peace forever. at all times my consciousness and alertness were high.

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness?      More consciousness and alertness than normal   my highest level of consciousness and alertness was totally different than earth life. there was no pain or suffering there, jut complete and utter love and ecstasy.

Please compare your vision during the experience to your everyday vision that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience.   I was in a state of severe depression prior to my experience. however, when I was taken up in the golden tunnel my vision there was incredibly more vivid and real.

Please compare your hearing during the experience to your everyday hearing that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience.   my hearing prior to my experience was normal, however during the experience my hearing seemed to wrap around my mind and body completely

Did you see or hear any earthly events that were occurring during a time that your consciousness / awareness was apart from your physical / earthly body?   No  

What emotions did you feel during the experience?   an overwhelming connection and love for all mankind. heavenly bliss, praise to god in the highest and peace forever.  

Did you pass into or through a tunnel?   Yes   I was lifted up by some manifestation and did pass through a golden tunnel, but not when the experience was completed. somehow, I just seemed to be back in my living room again

Did you see an unearthly light?   Yes   the golden tunnel and eternal unearthly light in the room that I found myself in.

Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice?   I encountered a definite being, or a voice clearly of mystical or unearthly origin
the group of people around me seemed to be singing and praising the lord god forever.

Did you encounter or become aware of any beings who previously lived on earth who are described by name in religions (for example: Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, etc.)?   No  

Did you encounter or become aware of any deceased (or alive) beings?   No   I have learned through the bible that we are like angels in heaven, without wings but with glorified bodies. we neither or be given in marriage NIV See mark 12;24 AND LUKE 20;34

Did you become aware of past events in your life during your experience?   No  

Did you seem to enter some other, unearthly world?   A clearly mystical or unearthly realm


Did time seem to speed up or slow down?   Everything seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or lost all meaning
time seemed to stop and lost all meaning.  there was no way to know time. it was not important only praising and glorifying god was what we were doing.

Did you suddenly seem to understand everything?   Everything about the universe
every thing and everyone were somehow connected to each other with no effort on my part. Almost like mind reading without speaking any verbal words. every thought seemed to toward praising the lord.

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?   Yes

Did you come to a border or point of no return?   No

Did scenes from the future come to you?  No 

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness suggesting that there either is (or is not) continued existence after earthly life (�life after death�)?   Yes   there is no doubt that our souls live on after our death in another glorious life, without physical bodies.

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that God or a supreme being either does (or does not) exist?   Yes   I received enraptured awareness that god lives and we are his children.

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that you either did (or did not) exist prior to this lifetime?   No  

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that a mystical universal connection or unity/oneness either does (or does not) exist?   Yes   I received vivid and glorious awareness of our souls or spirits live on in an universal unity with god and others.

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness regarding love?   Yes   love is what life is all about, but unconditional love is hard to find in this physical life.

Did you have a sense of knowing special knowledge or purpose?   Yes   we all need to find the creator in ourselves that we are within god and god is within us.

What occurred during your experience included:   Content that was both consistent and not consistent with the beliefs you had at the time of your experience   I found out that some of my previous beliefs were taught falsely. we do not marry in heaven or receive our own planets and do not recreate children.

Joseph Smith might have received revelations at his first vision.  but the truth was not given to him.  the truth has been convoluted and twice and ensnared many people away from the truth in the bible.

How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience?   I remember the experience more accurately than other life events that occurred around the time of the experience   no other memories are as clear and earth shaking as the experience I had when I was taken up in the golden tunnel  

My experience directly resulted in:   Large changes in my life

Did you have any changes in your values or beliefs after the experience that occurred as a result of the experience?   Yes   always be in the lord god in faith and by service to others and never fear death.

Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience?   Yes   the holy spirit now guides me and helps me with making decisions and treating others as I would be treated.

Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you?     praising god in the fullest and knowing that we all are loved and our lives are important to god.

Have you ever shared this experience with others?   Yes  at the time, my husband nor my family, did not believe me and my LDS church members and leaders did not belief me or support me in this experience. Some people that I shared this experience with, wish they had had an experience like that. but others are doubtful or are unbelievers.

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience?   Yes   just what I knew and read from dr. moody and dr. kubler ross

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:   Experience was definitely real   it is always that same. it was definitely the most real experience that ever happened to me and I will never forget it. it gives me faith and hope if I can just endure this world until I am called home, everything will work out for me and most all of humanity.

What do you believe about the reality of your experience at the current time:   Experience was definitely real   it will dwell in me forever and ever.

Have your relationships changed specifically as a result of your experience?   Yes   now that I have found real truth I have dedicated my life to Christ and stay close to my new Christian church.

Have your religious beliefs/spiritual practices changed specifically as a result of your experience?   Yes   now that I know the truth about our lives after this live, I will always stay close to the lord. when times or troubles come along I can always remember that experience and know that I am a child of god.

At any time in your life, has anything ever reproduced any part of the experience?   Yes   during my life I have had many spiritual experiences. not prayed for but they just came naturally. for example, when I was around 8 years old, I was sitting by a small stream in Muir woods national park looking at a bible and a cross I had made. suddenly I was converted to the lord and later I tried to talk my adult neighbors into joining and believing in the lord. 

I was about 10 years old, and I was attending a church in a theater. all of a sudden the stage curtain was ripped aside and I was pulled into a beautiful garden on a grassy hillside. then this strong surge of complete love toward me swept my mind. I then thought I guess I was loved after all. then the vision disappeared to me.

Is there anything else that you would like to add about your experience?   at 26 years our paint business burnt down. a soft voice said to me. all is well, never fear, all is well.
