Experience description:

I had a dream while I was sleeping in bed and from what I remember of the dream, I thought I was in heaven although there was nothing to suggest that as I was in more of a void but a very bright void with figures of young men with dark hair and beards wearing white flowing robes zooming in towards me from angles from my right and from my left. whilst this was happening I felt the most powerful feeling of love which was so powerful it was unearthly as I have never felt love in such a way before or ever since. This feeling of love was rising and rising until it reached a peak when suddenly I found myself above my sleeping body although I don't remember seeing my body, but I remember seeing the brass knobs on my bedposts, then bang!!! I was back in my body. Since this dream I have been able to talk about it but for years when I tried to explain to anyone, I would become so emotional it was difficult to explain. Luckily I can now tell anyone about my dream I had all these years ago. I just can't explain it but it was an amazing gift and I will be forever thankful

What emotions did you feel during the experience?   very emotional, the beauty of love  

Did you pass into or through a tunnel?   Uncertain   Not sure, it just seemed like empty space, but bright

Did you see an unearthly light?   Yes   super highlighted

Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice?   I encountered a definite being, or a voice clearly of mystical or unearthly origin

not so much a place but an experience

I felt part of everything

What occurred during your experience included:   Content that was both consistent and not consistent with the beliefs you had at the time of your exp   I did believe in God at the time but only a belief

How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience?   I remember the experience more accurately than other life events that occurred around the time of the experience   I have vivid memories of my experience  

My experience directly resulted in:   Moderate changes in my life

Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience?   Yes   thoughts which come into me head which turn out to be true. My husband had a son unknown to us both who had found his phone number and I had this thought 1 day before my husband got a phone call from him. Sometimes I can feel what people are feeling and I also can have an overwhelming empathy towards people spur of moment

Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you?     It all was meaningful although the feeling of love was very overwhelming, not of this earth

Have you ever shared this experience with others?   Yes  yes, they listened but not sure if they truly understood the nature of the feeling of love

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:   Experience was definitely real   I feel very very privileged to have had this experience

What do you believe about the reality of your experience at the current time:   Experience was definitely real   Something I will never ever forget till the day I die

Have your religious beliefs/spiritual practices changed specifically as a result of your experience?   Yes   I feel my religion is personal to me. I don't believe in God as such, I believe we are all God
