Experience description:
I was
having my second baby at age 20 in Santa Monica Hospital. I don't know if I had
ever heard of out of body experiences then. While in labor, I went up to the
ceiling. I didn't make myself go, I just went up. I looked all around the room
and I was up by the lights in the ceiling. Across the room I noticed a big
mirror that I had n't seen while lying down. I wondered why they don't
bring it to me so I can see the baby being born. When I was up there I wasn't
worried how I got up there, and not worried how I was going to get back. Years
later I was reading a book and they mentioned out of body experiences and how
you never worry how you got there and never worry how you get back. I am not
very religious, I don't belong to a church. But because of that one time. I do
believe we have a spirit that can leave the body..and that makes me very happy.
The little baby boy I had that day, passed away a few days ago. My heart is
broken he was 45. I know we have a spirit and that is helping me right now. I
found you tonight and wanted to share this with you.

of experience difficult to express in words?

None was given before I had the out of body experience..later a spinal was given
nothing before at all

Was the
experience dream like in any way?
not that I
remember
Did
you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?
I didn't feel
anything. I only knew I was up in the ceiling by the lights looking around. I
didn't think am I in my body or out of it. I didn't make myself go back I
just went back automatic.
What
emotions did you feel during the experience?
calm, not
scared. I can't imagine why I wasn't scared to death being up there.
It's a wonder I didn't think I was dead. I didn't think anything except why was
the mirror over in the corner? I could watch the baby be born if they brought it
over.
Did
you hear any unusual sounds or noises?
No

you involved in or aware of a decision regarding your return to the body?
No
No I didn't decide to go back I somehow was just back I was in very bad labor
pain

that you did not have prior to the experience?
Uncertain No but I do believe in people being psychic

Yes Yes now
I know we must have a spirit..my spirit left for a minute

Career choices?
No..but it is
wonderful to know that we have a spirit

Yes Happy
we have a spirit and know for myself that we do

Interested..but you never know if they really believe that it is true think you
were medicated..I hope the ones I have told really believe me.

emotions did you experience following your experience?
none didn't
even think of it..that is what is weird..like it was a normal thing to do..I
dont know why I was n't freaked out ha ha

was the best and worst part of your experience?
Best knowing we
have a spirit..none of it was worse..
Is
there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?
I wonder
why I was nt scared and wonder why I did n't tell who ever was there "guess
where I was up in the ceiling "..I never mntioned it to them just accepted it
like it was just a part of my day haha
