I didn't really question why I was up there while I was there, but I knew I was. As I was looking down at myself and my husband, I felt this most incredible feeling of peace. There really are no words to describe what I felt ! All I know is that it felt nothing like my usual, everyday, body experiences. It was absolutely wonderful ! I then came down from the ceiling and found myself going into my body laying in the exact position, I saw myself laying in from the ceiling and as I did this, I immediately woke up. I was not frightened or scared in any way. I didn't get out of bed, but I did sit up in bed. I looked at my husband and he was still sleeping. I thought this to be an incredible happening, as I have never experienced anything so wonderful in my life ! I ended up laying back down and going back to sleep and didn't wake up until my usual time in the morning. I did not say anything to my husband about what had happened to me that night until many months later. I didn't want him to think I was crazy !  This was not a usual happening and he is not very open minded.

I have often wondered since that happening, where I had been, what I was doing and why I had this out of body experience in the first place. Though I have never figured out the answers to any of these questions, it is an experience that has stayed with me to this day. An experience that I will never forget !

Any associated medications or substances with the potential to affect the experience?     No

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? Yes

There are no words to describe the incredible peace I felt !  It was the most awesome thing I have ever experienced in my entire life !

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          No

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?           I felt very conscious and alert.

            Was the experience dream like in any way?   No.

Did you pass into or through a tunnel or enclosure?          Yes

            Describe:      I recognized our bedroom, exactly as it was. I recognized my husband and myself.

Did you experience a review of past events in your life?    Yes

I saw myself sleeping. This alone was quite fascinating to me.

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?          No

Did you see or visit any beautiful or otherwise distinctive locations, levels or dimensions?           Yes

It was like I did not have my 5 senses, only what I call peace.

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did not have prior to the experience?         Yes,  I did not have anything unusual happen after that night, but in the past 5 years or so I have had a few psychic dreams.

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?   No

How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?       Nothing changed for me then, but it has in the past 5 or so years. I look at things now with a much more open mind.

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?         Yes

At that time, not really. But since then I feel it has. I am more concerned with the state of the world and where I fit into it all.

Have you shared this experience with others?         Yes

I have shared this experience with a couple of people that are close to me.  My sister was in awe, but I'm not sure how the others feel about it. I kind of get the feeling that they think I'm weird.

What emotions did you experience following your experience?  I was elated at the feeling of peace I had experienced ! I was excited about what had happened and most of all I had a million questions as to why it happened.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?      It was all totally wonderful !!

Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?        I wish everyone could experience the peace I felt !!

This experience is as vivid to me today, as it was the night it actually happened. I will always remember it.
