Experience description:

Before telling you this story, I have to tell you what happened and why this brought me to where I was. In 1995 my brother died at the age of 30, the youngest of us all, and personally I have been investigating the question of death since 1975, so from a very young age, obviously. I do not believe in life after death, I know it exists, without doubt;  I have had many experiences in this regard, and I see a lot to do with the other side. This is just so you will understand why what happened, did happen. I was investigating madly, reading everything I could lay my hands on in German, Spanish, whatever. I spoke to people who were close to death, and they told me about what they saw and felt, and in this way I learned a lot.

One day I asked my guardian (angel), which we all have from birth, to show me if possible what a person feels when they go over to the other side. I asked him to teach me what death is like. That night I went to bed quite late, I was reading and taking notes, it would have been around 2 in the morning when I lay down. I did not take long to go to sleep. It was something wonderful, I felt that beneath me were men carrying me on their shoulders; I was in a coffin, feeling no fear at all, simply an eternal peace. I saw the people who were at the cemetery, and my body. I was conscious of being inside the box but in myself, my true being, I was outside and attempting to tell the people that I had not died, that I was still alive, but nobody, nobody heard me or saw me. It was an experience I will never forget, unique, and I have it before me as if it had been yesterday. My Guide told me - you have had the honor of knowing how it is and also you will remember it for the rest of your life. And so it is until now, but I have had many more experiences which have been equally wonderful and beautiful, truly unforgettable.

Now I would like to ask you to forgive me but I have a German typewriter to write this, I hope you can understand it.

My best regards,

Maria.

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? No, not at all.

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event? No, never.

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness?

Throughout I knew that it was what you could call a real dream. I was never afraid, and I knew that nothing would happen to me.

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal every day consciousness and alertness? Normal consciousness and alertness

If your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience was different from your normal every day consciousness and alertness, please explain: Throughout I knew that it was what you could call a real dream. I was never afraid, and I knew that nothing would happen to me.

Did your vision differ in any way from your normal, everyday vision (in any aspect, such as clarity, field of vision, colors, brightness, depth perception degree of solidness/transparency of objects, etc.)?

No. I know the colors, the countryside and everything else on the other side have what you could call a special brilliance, but this death that I went through, because it was granted to me, was here in this life. I have had experiences of the other side, yes, and I saw marvellous gardens which do not exist on this side, also the colors are much more intense on the other side.

Did your hearing differ in any way from your normal, everyday hearing (in any aspect, such as clarity, ability to recognize source of sound, pitch, loudness, etc.)?

Yes. I perceive the state of mind of people I see, and even if it is only for a moment, buying something, I know their real state of mind, what they are thinking and even the problems they have. Often I avoid looking at people as it is too much, what I get off them.

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body? Yes

What emotions did you feel during the experience? A profound freedom.

Did you pass into or through a tunnel or enclosure? No, it was not necessary.

Did you see a light? No, not at this time.

Did you meet or see any other beings? Yes, when I leave my body in the night-time I am used to seeing persons and beings who are already deceased. This is where we all go when our body is resting, our real being goes home.

Did you experience a review of past events in your life? No

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later? No, not at all.

Did you see or visit any beautiful or otherwise distinctive locations, levels or dimensions? Yes, it is as if you had been in space and saw the world from above, it was unforgettable.

Did you have any sense of altered space or time? No, it is as if time did not exist, everything happens in the now and the afterwards, at the same time.

Did you have a sense of knowing special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?

Yes, everything was in the now and present as if time did not exist.

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure? No, not on this occasion.

Did you become aware of future events? Yes. Since this experience I feel no fear and I live more deeply and intensely than before.

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience you did not have prior to the experience?

Yes, my sixth sense has always been very keen and perceives a great deal.

Have you shared this experience with others? Yes, with a lot of people I deal with here on the internet.

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience? No, never, but I was used to leaving my body in my sleep.

How did you view the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened?

Experience was definitely real, so real that after all this time I am telling it as though reliving it all over.

Were there one or several parts of the experience especially meaningful or significant to you? No, at no time did I feel bad or afraid.

How do you currently view the reality of your experience?

Experience was definitely real. It was a gift which I wished for, to know how it is and how someone feels when they die, and after death. That was all, and it was granted to me.

Have your relationships changed specifically as a result of your experience?

Yes. I am freer and speak about life and death without fears or taboos. I believe in life after death and do not fear it. Being born here is dying on the other side, and dying here is going home to where we came from. We come her to learn, have new experiences, which we take back home with us when we die.

Have your religious beliefs/practices changed specifically as a result of your experience?

Yes, they have always been those that I am telling you about, since I was 12, so since my childhood.

Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience? No, not at all. My life goes on as normal until now, and I am grateful for everything I have been able to live through and am living through.

Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience? I will never forget it, it was unique.

Did the questions asked and information you provided so far accurately and comprehensively describe your experience?

Yes it was exactly like this.

Are there any other questions we could ask to help you communicate your experience? No they are exactly right, thank you.
