This is how it came about:

First it is important to point out that I have worked with and learned various things from a shaman. A strong connexion was awakened in me, with that other plane, where are to be found the elemental spirits of nature.

But here is how everything started:

On 21st July, I had a very unusual dream (I often have dreams which alert me to dangerous situations or show me the future.)

In this dream I was present with the shaman in an indigenous cemetery, and he was telling me that we could not stay there as it made him afraid, it was not the right place for us to be. Seeing him alarmed, I became alarmed as well, but it surprised me to see him like that. Suddenly a little demon passed by, it was a black metallic color, spinning round and laughing in a scary manner. We ran out of there but found ourselves back in the same place.

On 25th July, I left my house to do a work of empowerment with the natural elements. On leaving the house, I felt an emptiness through my whole body, which I looked at, and said: "If I don't go back... everything will be put out of order..." But I left, all the same. For the nature-work, I was going with my mother. We were to meet up with the shaman and others from a reiki group in another place. On arriving at the place where we were to do the work, we had to go into some water, which was very cold. Usually such tests of fortitude don't seem tough to me, but this time... I had to get in the water several times and stay there for some time. I spent around 40 minutes in the water. Afterwards, we all had to hold our breath for 25 seconds, under water (not too much for me, I can hold my breath for a minute without difficulty), but this time... before I got to 25 seconds, I already felt the need for air, and on reaching 25 seconds my head started to hurt intensely. I came out of the water, and with open eyes I saw blackness, with a blue neon lightning flash, and another fuchsia-colored. The pain was very great, I could not control it. I was taken to a nearby stone, and my mama put her hands on my head to calm and heal me (she is a healer) but still nothing improved, the pain was getting worse and worse, then suddenly I felt that I was beginning to leave my body. I felt that I started by leaving my feet, and at this moment I just said... "I'm floating" (my mother kept repeating, "Don't go away... stay here." I was calm and I could hear her and hear everything that was happening, but I could do nothing, I was not in charge of my body, I had no willpower at all). A woman qualified in reiki came over quickly and they did things to me which I can't remember, just that they took out of my stomach a horrible energy.

I was in shock for an hour.

In the night, while asleep, I woke up, feeling that I couldn't move, couldn't breathe, couldn't speak. A strange force kept me immobile, and a freezing cold ran the length of my spinal column, from my coccyx to the crown of my head. I shut my eyes and could see my spinal column above my body, just the column, a neon blue in colour with some white, full of light. I began to hear the sound of drums alongside my spinal column, and I could see the vibrations of the music, in white light. After this, I felt my spine moving vigorously from side to side (all this was on another plane), and by then I could move myself and I saw on this other plane a being of light, as tall as the trees, and on one side a floating city of white light. I entered the city, where all the forms were curves and all the beings were of light, except one whom I could see normally like a human being, but not very clearly. Then I opened my eyes and saw in the room many silhouettes of light-beings, they seemed like angels, and my mother was at my side... I said to her "Mami the room is full of angels," but then they vanished.

Ever since that day July 25th until now, August 20th, the pain in my head has persisted.

The dream I had beforehand seemed to be indicating that death was lying in wait for me.

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event? Yes, dark forces

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness? Most of the time I was conscious but not alert. But my control of my body was very poor, almost nil.

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal every day consciousness and alertness? More consciousness and alertness than normal

If your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience was different from your normal every day consciousness and alertness, please explain: Most of the time I was conscious but not alert. But my control of my body was very poor, almost nil.

Did your vision differ in any way from your normal, everyday vision (in any aspect, such as clarity, field of vision, colors, brightness, depth perception degree of solidness/transparency of objects, etc.)? Yes, I saw without seeing. The colors were supremely luminous.

Did your hearing differ in any way from your normal, everyday hearing (in any aspect, such as clarity, ability to recognize source of sound, pitch, loudness, etc.)?Yes. I heard voices from far-off, while on the other hand I could hear other kinds of sound more keenly, on other planes.

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body? Yes

What emotions did you feel during the experience?

Fear, when I left the water and could not see. As the pain was so great I preferred to disconnect, I did not want to come back.

Impotence on feeling the cold through my back.

Anguish when my spinal column was being moved.

Astonishment when I saw the city of light.

Peace and joy when I saw the angels.

Did you pass into or through a tunnel or enclosure? No

Did you see a light? Yes, everything was light.

Did you meet or see any other beings? Yes, the being of light was in a city of light. I don't know what he said, I just saw him and then I saw the city.

Did you experience a review of past events in your life? No

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later? No

Did you see or visit any beautiful or otherwise distinctive locations, levels or dimensions? Yes a beautiful white city of light with curved forms.

Did you have any sense of altered space or time? No

Did you have a sense of knowing special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose? Uncertain. At that time, no... now they have made me know that I did.

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure? Uncertain, I don't know, it is difficult to feel it. I know that I did nopt want to come back.

Did you become aware of future events? Uncertain. I have always had these feelings, and now it seems everything has calmed down. Before, I saw ghosts, now I do not. Before, I dreamed of the future, now I don't know, I think I'm in a state of processing what happened.

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience you did not have prior to the experience?

Uncertain, they say it will come.

Have you shared this experience with others?

Yes, I shared it when I woke up. They believed me, explained it to me, and finished off my reiki session. I had a dark energy in my being which sapped my will and left me dying. Now I'm terrified  whenever I write about it. Yesterday I shared with another person, and she said the same as the others, she is a tarot reader... she saw that there was something which was not from here, which wanted this to happen. The shaman looked at my hand and was very worried, I'm his disciple, he's like a father to me, and he said it was written in my hand, and could be seen there.

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience? No

How did you view the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened?

Experience was definitely real. I felt it all the time as real, I am accustomed to entering other planes, it did not seem unusual to me. But at that time it was already my death, it was much stronger.

Were there one or several parts of the experience especially meaningful or significant to you? All of it. All of it was powerful because it was all a struggle with an energy which came from beyond. I don't know if people believe what I say, but it was horrible, I hated it.

How do you currently view the reality of your experience?

Experience was definitely real. I went into a state of profound sadness, it has been a big effort to come back to the world. I went to the doctor and my liver has been affected, as well at the pancreas and spleen, these are the 3 organs which are charged with sustaining life.

Now I have the job of rooting myself in the earth, of being more here than there. I do exercizes for this and take medicines as well.

Have your relationships changed specifically as a result of your experience? Yes, I have become more nervous, there have been moments when I did not want to see people. The noise of the city bothers me, my hearing has become more acute.

Have your religious beliefs/practices changed specifically as a result of your experience? No
