Experience description:

I was locked in my bedroom and being punished and I fell asleep.  It was really warm and I could feel sweat.  I loud bass like noise was in my head and then I felt my body vibrate.  I then peeled what I describe as my soul from my physical body and at will, I flew all around my bedroom doing summersaults and flips and dives.  It has happened only when I am sleeping or in an almost sleep state.  After this incident, I learned to come out when I wanted and then explored out of my bedroom and without control was above the house, above the clouds and when I get to outer space, I plead with God to put me back in my body and he does.

Any associated medications or substances with the potential to affect the experience?     No      

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? No      

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          No      

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?           It seemed like I was 100% conscious and alert.

            Was the experience dream like in any way?   Yes because I had no physical power, only mental.

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     Yes     I literally see my body asleep when I peel away from it.

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            I sometimes fight it because it feels like I am going to die, or I can't find my way back to my body.  If I let it go, and I float out, I usually like it.

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?           Yes, lots of loud bass like music, almost like engine noise and banging.

LOCATION DESCRIPTION:  Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing creatures?            Yes     Actually one time I was with another spirit and we were on one of planets and I actually saw Earth which from that planet, looked like a moon in the sky but instead of being illuminated, it was blue and green and the real moonlight reflected on it.

Did you see a light?           No      

Did you meet or see any other beings?           Yes     Sometimes I am with other spirits or other people who I have only seen in dreams and recognize them from other dreams.

Did you experiment while out of the body or in another, altered state? Yes    

I have been all around, down streets, across the sky and even once in a neighbors house.

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?          Yes     When my neighbor invited me in his house for the first time, I knew I was there.   Everything was like I remember it.  I got d�j� vu!

Did you notice how your 5 senses were working, and if so, how were they different?          Yes     I had no sense of smell, no taste, no touch.   I did have hearing and sight.

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?   Uncertain     

Did you have a sense of knowing, special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?    No      

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?                  Yes, I don't like to get passed the clouds.  I fight my way back once I reach the clouds.

Did you become aware of future events?       Yes     I did keep having a picture of a train derailment and one occurred a few days later.

Were you involved in or aware of a decision regarding your return to the body?       Yes     Yes, it never goes back on its own, I tell whomever that I am ready or I plead to God or Angels to put me back.

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did not have prior to the experience?         Yes     My whole life I have perceived too many things to mention.

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?   Yes     I am more open minded to all paranormal or unknown phenomena

How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?       It really hasn't.  I do believe that when we die, our spirits do survive and we meet with other beings and people who have passed as well as God/Jesus.

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?         Yes     I am more into paranormal things.

Have you shared this experience with others?         Yes     If I tell an open minded person, they usually have an equally great experience to share.  When I have mentioned it to other "normal" people, that ask me what drugs was I on or tell me it was a lucid dream.

What emotions did you experience following your experience?  I feel like I crossed over for a little while.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?      It is neat to be so free and float around or regroup with other spirits or spiritual friends.  Worst part is being just your mind, no body and wondering if this time you get to go back in it or is this the end.

Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?        Just that I can stop it when it wants to start.  It happens when I seem to be too warm/hot or lonely.

Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience?         Yes     One time I took magic mushrooms (I was about 23 years old) and it was a similar experience but I never went airborne)
