Experience description:

After I was allowed to wake up from the coma, I saw a faint veil repeatedly whenever I closed my eyes. The veil remained with me for a period of about 4 days.  Every time I closed my eyes to rest, I would see a faint milky veil with a wavy outline, directly in front of me.  It was faint but very noticeable.  Every day, the veil would be slightly smaller as if it was receding away from me.  The unique thing about the veil is that its wavy shaped outline didn't change at any time. It retained the same shape every time I saw it until it was completely invisible after several days.  It simply appeared to withdraw from my vision over a period of about 4 days.  Then it was gone entirely.  I haven't seen it since.

I could not see thru the veil.  The veil reminded me of the Milky Way on a dark night when you catch a glimpse of it from out of the corner of your eye.  But under my circumstance,  I was able to look directly at the veil without it disappearing.

I heard no sound coming from it at any time .

I personally believe it was spiritual in nature and not a hallucination due to the fact that it never changed its shape during the days I was able to see it.  It simply got smaller or more distant as I got healthier.
