EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION

 My experience began during a failed nap. I was unable to sleep so I began to meditate.  I felt normal sensations of deep relaxation.  Heaviness, weightlessness and movies on a screen.  I then found my point of view from above a rural area I have seen before.  I was then traveling straight up very quickly into the sky. Not flying, it was linear so more like a rocket.  I realized how high I was and got scared.  I felt my hands on a steering wheel which I perceived as a message that I was in control.  So I decided to let the momentum take me and decided to trust and let go.  I saw the trees get smaller, then I knew I was in space because I saw the earth, then I saw our solar system, the speed increased to a point where there was no speed.  I was in a new place so far away in locale from Earth that none of our published research has disclosed.  I then felt I had arrived at my destination. It was bright, then a loud buzz or high frequency sound and tingling throughout my entire body and then my eyes opened and I was in my bed.  I never felt that I came back, and felt that I brought something back with me from that place.  I wondered if the few physical ailments that I had would be gone.  I went immediately to the bathroom mirror to see if I looked that same.  I really expected to look different. 

This occurred less than 24 hours ago, so I do not know if any of my psychic abilities or healing abilities are enhanced yet.

            Was the experience dream like in any way?  Lucid Dreamlike perhaps

 Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     Yes     I knew I was apart because physical tissue couldn't withstand the speed of travel

 What emotions did you feel during the experience?           Fear initially, then exhilaration

 Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?          Lord buzzing or whining at the very end.

 LOCATION DESCRIPTION:  Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing creatures?    No      

Did you see a light?          Yes     The light was all around me at the end of the experience

 Did you meet or see any other beings?          No      

Did you experiment while out of the body or in another, altered state?            No      

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?    No      

Did you notice how your 5 senses were working, and if so, how were they different?         Yes            Vision was the same, but it was not physical vision.  In this place I was in the 5 senses are not important

 Did you have any sense of altered space or time?  Yes     There was no time



 Did you have a sense of knowing, special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?   No           

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?            Uncertain      The traveling stopped on it's own, I did not elicit it or stop it



 Did you become aware of future events?       No      

Were you involved in or aware of a decision regarding your return to the body?     No       Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did not have prior to the experience?  No Response         

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?  No Response

Have you shared this experience with others?         Yes     My husband, he thinks it was a dream

 What emotions did you experience following your experience? Disorientation

 What was the best and worst part of your experience?     The energy at the end was wonderful, the initial fear of heights was unnerving

 Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?       I believe I will go back to the place I was.  There is knowledge there that I will use to help people
