Experience description:

While studying Raja Yoga I would meditate using deep-breathing, marijuana and meditation music. On this night, I was seated in the Lotus position and in the dark.

I was suddenly aware of my  rapid rise into deep space. At first this seems unsteady. My person conditioned to science fought with my reality of sitting in the Lotus in deep space. I became aware of a warm friendly voice behind me.

The voice told me to relax and observe anything I wanted. I could see all the planets in our area very clearly, without normal distance distortion.

I was very happy. The voice told me I could have the answer to any question about any subject. I was content to sit and observe all that was to see. Time passed 20 minutes maybe but I never asked a question. I knew at that moment in time upon my death, I would gain all knowledge and was happy filled with joy.

Then just as it began I was transport at great speed back to my living room. Sitting on  the floor in front of a velvet couch. I stood up and turned a light. there on a pillow the perfect outline of my pose was raised upon the velvet. Later I became a Christian and put aside this event. I share it now to further your study.

 LOCATION DESCRIPTION:  Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing creatures?    Yes     A voice very calm and very kind

 Did you see a light?           Yes     the planets were well lit

 Did you meet or see any other beings?           No      

Did you experiment while out of the body or in another, altered state? Yes     observed outer space

 Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?     No      

Did you notice how your 5 senses were working, and if so, how were they different?          No           

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?   Yes     visual acuity

 Did you have a sense of knowing, special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?    Yes            very clearly all knowledge was available outside of the space continuum.

Did you become aware of future events?       No      

Were you involved in or aware of a decision regarding your return to the body?       No      

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did not have prior to the experience?         No

 Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?        I read some people lose control and can't get back so I stopped going.
