I think my experience then stopped, without speaking to my mother about it I don't think I can remember anymore, but I have stated the event quite briefly.

At the time of your experience was there an associated life-threatening event?   Yes  unknown to me

Was the experience difficult to express in words?  Yes     I was very young and did not understand it, my mother has spoken to me regarding the event but only when I've asked. I think she was/is just happy to see I did not die. apparently the doctor stated that another 5-10 minutes and I would have died.

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness?    I believe I was never unconscious ?? (I've never asked my mother) but I know I was in extreme pain and unaware of the surroundings and other things going on, only what I recall seeing from the ceiling.

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness?      Less consciousness and alertness than normal

Did you see an unearthly light?   Uncertain   don't remember, I would have to ask my mother as at sometime when I was on the floor I told her what I was experiencing at the time, which I don't remember doing, only the events happening.

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness suggesting that there either is (or is not) continued existence after earthly life (�life after death�)?   Yes   I had left my physical body and I can see both me's one looking at the body on the floor from the ceiling and the other me on the floor looking up at me on the ceiling, so both me's looking at each other, but the one on the ceiling had no pain and was quite relaxed, peaceful and no worries.

Have you ever shared this experience with others?   Yes  I was only a young kid, spoke to my mother but cant remember how long after, it might have been a week, a month, 6 months or even a year, haven't really spoke much about it to others but I have on times given a brief description, have told my wife bits of it now and then, it did happen a long time ago, it is or was the sort of thing you would not speak about incase people thought you were going crazy.

What do you believe about the reality of your experience at the current time:   Experience was definitely real   the unknown !!! why did it happen ?? will I encounter this again when my time is up ?? I believe I was at deaths door on reflection and if this is how you leave this world then it is painless and would be a pleasant way to go, no worries, carefree.

Have your relationships changed specifically as a result of your experience?   Yes   it has made me a very optimistic person, I know what I saw, "you don't"
