Experience description:

There is a lot I now cannot recall but mainly I remember traveling through a tube-like or tunnel thing, and I distinctly remember that there was a song playing over and over and over, but every time it neared the end, it never quite finished, and it would start from the beginning again. I remember thinking that when the song finally finished, I'd be on the other side.

I feel as though it went on like that for at least a dozen times, and when the song's end did play, I felt a sort of jolt, but that's when I had the feeling I was back in the hospital room. I knew I was laying in the bed for a long while afraid to open my eyes. When I did, I knew I was here on earth but it felt very surreal.

I glanced over at the caregiver, who was asleep in a chair, but suddenly awoke and asked if I was OK. It felt exactly as though I had smoked marijuana or something, but of course I had not, it was just a very surreal feeling. All I kept thinking about was that I had been through something life-changing and wonderful and scary all at once. But I knew I was back because many people in my life had been praying for me and it was just not my time to go yet.
