Experience description:

I was alcoholic at the time..I hated the world and blamed everyone I ever met in it for my lot in life. I had gotten to the point with my drinking where I'd surrendered everything. I'd quit quitting. I had nobody left in my life but alcohol and my hate for myself and humanity

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience? I was standing up wide awake sober

            Was the experience dream like in any way?  no

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?          Yes    When I was shown myself I was an eddy  that was a whirling spiral  that got darker and darker the deeper it went

What emotions did you feel during the experience?         none

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?         no

LOCATION DESCRIPTION:  Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing creatures?  Yes    I was high above the very room I was in

Did you see a light?        No     

Did you meet or see any other beings?         Yes    didn't know any of them. At one end of the bar, it was light and many people in colorful clothing where sitting talking and seemed happy.  As the room was scanned it go darker and darker I could see people  ( shadow  people  some couples some alone some darker then others ) Nothing was communicated

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?          No

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did not have prior to the experience? Uncertain     as a child I use to hear thousands of people in agony

How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices? over time everything in my life has changed on the inside, I entered that bar and man filled with hate  an alcoholic I left it never to drink again

What emotions did you experience following your experience? hard to remember My whole life began to change - sometimes slowly, sometimes quickly

Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?          it is still with me to this day

Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience? Yes    I believe so. One of them was hearing angels sing
