Experience description:
I was sleeping and I
was in my small bed. It is nearly morning because I could hear the sounds of
birds as usual. I slept again, it was around six in the morning. Then for close
to three years, I used to have this fear within me, I don't know if it was fear
but something could hold me tight in such a way that I could not breath, push my
hands or do anything. I used to feel helpless...so this particular morning, that
something again came to me and held me till I could not breath, in a split
second, I died....
(This story I only
shared with my wife)
As I was being held
tight, something like body freeze, I could not move or move any part of my
body...I slept into death or something like that. I saw my body on bed... while
myself, I started to move through a tunnel, a dark tunnel...at the furthest end
of the tunnel, I could see some light, very bright light....so as I was moving
towards the light, two beings were talking to me,
sought of flying on top of my body...one told me that I was actually
dying...another welcomed me to someplace. So I slid into the tunnel further and
further, someone from across the tunnel shouted, 'Erick you are dying, wake up
refuse, make a decision if you want to die.' I resisted, I held myself
tight and I awoke from the bed....I don't know what this means but I have held
on without sharing with many people...since then, that something or somebody
that used to hold me tight never held me after like 6 months and then
disappeared....
At the time of your
experience was there an associated life-threatening event?
No
Was the experience
difficult to express in words?....Yes....I
kept quiet for while till I met my wife and then shared with her for fear of
something I don't know

the experience were you at your highest level of
consciousness and
alertness?....Normal
consciousness and alertness When someone shouted that I was dying....

Yes People were
talking to me and some, two of them who I believe were angels were escorting me
What emotions did you
feel during the experience?....Sad,
very sad...I believe I was headed to hell since I was seriously saved
Did you pass into or
through a tunnel?....Yes....The
tunnel was like a tube but big enough for me and my two escort angels to pass
through, at the end of the tunnel was some light
Did you see an
unearthly light?....Yes....Yes
I saw some light at the end of the tunnel
Did you seem to
encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice?....I
heard a voice I could not identify Someone
shouted to me that I was dying and that I should make a decision to either die
or come back to earth
Did you encounter or
become aware of any deceased (or alive) beings?....No
Did you become aware
of past events in your life during your experience?....Yes....
Did you seem to enter
some other, unearthly world?....Some
unfamiliar and strange place....I
was in tunnel, very dark tunnel
Did time seem to speed
up or slow down?....Everything
seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or lost all meaning....I was
moving fast enough towards the light
Did you suddenly seem
to understand everything?....No....
Did you reach a
boundary or limiting physical structure?....Uncertain....Not
sure though but I was nearing the end of the tunnel when someone shouted at me

border or point of no return?....I
came to a definite conscious decision to "return" to life....
Did scenes from the
future come to you?....No....

of knowing special knowledge or purpose?....No....

changes in my life........

Yes I know Jesus is
alive and He lives

Yes Only my wife and

was definitely real I believed that it was a warning to me to change my life
and live it for Christ Jesus

was definitely real....

would say and no, I believe in Christ then even though I was that seriously but
I knew that He died for my sins...right now I still do believe that He is the
Christ and that only through Him will I have life
