Experience description:

It was 7pm, I was napping.  I had woken up (thought i woke up) and started walking down the hall.  I had called out to my grandpa who was sitting in his office.  I then realized that I wasn't awake, thought I was dreaming, so I went back into my room to find my body lying in bed.  The only thing I knew was that I had to get back in it to wake up.  So i laid back in my body and preceded to get up and walk down the hall again.  Still not "awake", I kept trying to get back in my body to wake up.  This happened many times before I was able to do so.  During these times of trying to get back in my body, I saw my grandpa take the flag in from outside, bring his dishes downstairs, and other things that normally take place on a Tuesday evening.

At one point, I felt a presence behind me so I turned around to see a dark figure, directly behind me, staring at me.  His features were unclear, but I got scared and laid in bed, laid in my body, trying to connect with it.  Finally, I knew I was awake, but was experiencing sleep paralysis.  I kept feeling my soul getting tugged away from my body, but I kept trying to fight it.  I then was able to move a toe, then my whole foot, then finally, I was able to physically get out of bed.  Walking down the hall, I had an odd feeling of just being there a few seconds ago.  I later learned everything my grandpa did in my "dream" he did in real life while I was sleeping (taking in the flag, taking down his dishes, etc.).  This was the first of many SOBEs since.
