Today I had my first
out of body experience and a lucid dream. I am 28 years old. My boyfriend was
over here and we were up talking and then he left for work. I fell back asleep
and I had a dream that I turned on the toys I had and they were all moving and
dancing. Then I came out in my bedroom and I realized all my toys were moving
and dancing. I laughed and thought ha! This must be a dream thus the term a
lucid dream. Then I transitioned into another state in which I was lifted out of
my body and I had the feeling that this was not a dream anymore because I was
aware of my surroundings. I felt a rushing sensation around me. I was excited
and a little nervous but my mind said, let’s go with this for a little bit. I
was able to pass through walls and move very quickly. I do not remember if I saw
my body or not. I was traveling at a fast speed and took notice of what was
around me. I saw hands praying around me, many different hands clasped in
prayer. I began to worry that I would not be able to return to my body so I
returned to my original state. However I was still not fully “awake”. I turned
to the wall beside my bed and there was a movie playing on the wall! It was a
silent movie and I could not make out what was going on in the movie. It
appeared to be a cartoon with “happy monsters!” I blinked once and the movie
continued to play. I blinked twice and the movie still continued to play. I
began to feel like what is going on with me and blinked once more. Then the
movie disappeared. I immediately recalled all the details and called my sister
and told her what happened.
