Experience description:

I remember very little about my early childhood as is probably the case with most people.  What happened to me is that one day on or around my second birthday, I fell out of my hi chair and broke my left arm.  I don't remember the event per say, but remember falling one time, then hitting the ground followed by about 15 seconds of excruciating , throbbing pain, then at the point where the pain was most unbearable, going through a tunnel at great speed and then becoming conscious in what I can only describe as a garden or a place with really vivid green features.  I also remember hearing water like a brook.  I seem to remember myself as a ball of light at the time, and within a short time was greeted by another entity that also appeared as a ball of light but when I concentrated,  I could see the profile of a human form.  The personality of the entity can only be described as complete love and compassion for me and only seemed concerned about my well being.  I do not remember what we communicated as it was a long time ago.  I remember at first really being overwhelmed by my surroundings that, if I remember correctly, was up in the sky sometimes and at other times in the garden that I described.

One event that I remember was that one time when I was out of my body , the entity took me down to see my body.  I remember seeing myself playing on a sidewalk.  I watched from above as my body fell on the side walk and my knee was cut by a sharp rock.  Keep in mind that all the time I was watching my body from above.  To this day, I have a scar above my left knee and that is the only event that i can remember to explain it.

My OBE was different from most in that I was out of my body for a long time as I remember.  When I left my body,  my family was living in England.  When I returned to my body,  it was at my Grandmother's house in Pennsylvania. I actually remember when I returned to my body.  I remember suddenly being in the air above my grandmother's house and the entity telling me that it was time for me to return to my body.  He also communicated to me that he would not be there when I actually died but there would be another entity to greet me when my time to die would come.  I watched the entity float away and I descended through the roof of my grandmother's house and re-entered my body through my left temple if I remember correctly.  I remember being happy to see my two older brothers who were strangely bigger and more strange to me was that I suddenly had two younger brothers as well.  I have no memory of my two younger brothers until that point.  Based on the timeline as best as I can put together,  this had to have happened sometime in the late spring or early summer of 1964 so somewhere around eighteen months.

During the time of my OBE, My parents did notice that my personality was different.  They would always joke with me about how I would use my cast on my arm as a club to hit my older brothers.  I, of course, have no memory of doing that.

One last point is that over time, my view of the other realm changed as I eventually wanted to go back for no other reason than to feel air going through my lungs again and blood pumping through my veins and to be with my family again.    I think that I was given a choice to stay but that drive to be alive again was stronger. The place that I was in was kind of like limbo I think.
