Experience description:

I was walking home after class.  I remember being in a great mood and excited that oceanography was an awesome class.  I remember that I crossed the street earlier than normal.  I was joyfully walking all by myself just thinking of happy things.  Then suddenly I stopped dead in my tracks overwhelmed with knowing and seeing everything in the universe.  Shocked that it wasn't quite what I expected but still in awe.  The vision and knowledge was there but I was also aware of where I was.  I saw space flying away from me along along with all knowledge of the universe.  The only thing I'm left is my own mental picture of my hands reaching to grab any truth that quickly flew away from me.  Remember that... Gone.... Remember that...gone or this or that....  It was all gone.  And I have nothing but the experience.  Some stars and red a red planet or light or something.

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          No      

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?           Completely conscious

            Was the experience dream like in any way?   Not really a dream more vision like because I was awake and also could see cars and houses and whatever was there

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     No      

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            Awe and excitement
Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?           Not sure .  I'm thinking no.

LOCATION DESCRIPTION:  Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing creatures?            Uncertain      It's all no longer in my memory

Did you meet or see any other beings?           Uncertain      Don't know

Did you experiment while out of the body or in another, altered state? Uncertain      Don't remember but I don't think so.  Most of the vision was about remembering not doing anything

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?          No

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?          Uncertain      Couldn't say

Did you have a sense of knowing, special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?    Yes     Not sure about purpose

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?             Uncertain      If there was a boundary.  I probably crossed it because everything was known to me

Did you become aware of future events?       Uncertain      Didn't get a grasp on that either

Were you involved in or aware of a decision regarding your return to the body?       No      

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did not have prior to the experience?   No      

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?   Uncertain      I cannot remember whether this knowledge confirmed or disproved any of my religious believes.  I remember thinking its not what I expected.

How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?       No

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?         No      

Have you shared this experience with others?         Yes     Some people say there is a veil between us and our past memories and for some reason it opened for a moment.  Others say I had an epiphany.  Others say that I am remembering what I already knew before being born.

What emotions did you experience following your experience?  Disappointment. Sadness .  Loss but the same time just awe that just moments before I know everything about the universe.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?      knowing then left without knowledge
