Part 1- it was 2:00 am and I was unable to sleep, so I went out onto our balcony to think.  I was very depressed and angry, and hopeless.  My hopelessness was growing, when I heard a strange, shrill sound.  It seemed to be coming from the sky so i looked up, but saw nothing.  The sound grew louder and louder in my ears (almost getting painful) until suddenly I was bathed in the brightest, blinding white light and in total silence.  I don't know how long it lasted - it felt like seconds - and then it was gone.  I was left with a great feeling of hope and peace.  And also a light, airy feeling bodily - like if I jumped up I would continue up in the air.  Somehow now, I felt that everything would fall into place the way it was supposed to, for good or bad, it was okay.  At the time I thought it was aliens. 

Part 2 - I had been to a Pentecostal church for the first time in my life with a friend (Lily) who had been trying to get me to go for months. Never knew anything about Jesus. The next two days, I had visual images of the word "Jesus" flash before my eyes when I was reading or trying to go to sleep.  I then heard a voice say very clearly to me "Go downstairs and pray with Lily".  So, without any hesitancy, I went downstairs and prayed with my friend Lily.  Immediately after praying for Jesus to come into my life, I felt myself being raised up in the air, and I was looking down at my body down there praying, and sitting next to me was a man in white.  I could only see our backs, but he had his arm around me.  Then the voice said "Everything is going to be okay now".  Suddenly it was over, and I was left with a feeling of indescribable peace.  I suddenly KNEW things, and saw experiences in my past and the true meaning behind them.  I cannot put into words this sense of knowing and seeing, but it transformed my life and my personality was changed in an instant.  I had no FEAR anymore - fear had ruled my life in the past.  I felt SO free.  And full of forgiveness. 

Soon after this, I began experiencing many more psychic manifestations (I had since a small child), and I became very aware of spiritual beings around me.   I have never been the same - THANK GOD! Unfortunately, I have also experienced the negative side of being Out of Body with a malevolent being near me.

Although, I was thinking about taking my life or someone else's.

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?           I was in deep meditation and prayer.

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     Yes

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            Euphoria

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?           In part 1 - the shrill whining sound, in part 2 the voice.

I believe it was Jesus who was sitting next to me.

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later? Uncertain

The voice told me that everything was going to be okay now, and it has been ever since.

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?   Yes

In Part 1 - It felt like only seconds that I was bathed in light, but it really was more like 1 hour when I went back inside and checked the time.

Did you have a sense of knowing, special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?    Yes

I knew that God was going to use me for His purpose, and I knew that I had existed before in another consciousness or body.

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did not have prior to the experience?         Yes

An ability to sense impending death of friends and family.

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?   Yes

Completely changed!  A totally different person. God was real, and he wanted me for some reason!

What was the best and worst part of your experience?      The best is obvious - the worst is that it created a desire in me for more of that type of experience, so I traveled down some strange paths after that.
