Chevy N's Experience

Experience description:
When I exit my body during the dream state, I am fully aware of the fact that I am in some type of dream state. I am outside my body. I can walk into the living room, create a door and exit outside. I can create images or they just appear before me. All of my senses seem real. I can feel the dampness of grass at my feet when I am walking on my lawn. I can feel the soft fur of my cat that I am petting. I can feel the mist of water on my body from a waterfall, I can hear beautiful music playing. I can increase the volume or lower it by concentration. It is really awesome. I do not know what it all means. I will not buy into any one set belief system. I am trying to be as open minded as possible. This is why I want information from researchers. I can not talk about it to very many people for fear of them thinking I am nuts.
All I know
is that it is a great feeling and they are the ones missing out.
Any associated medications
or substances with the potential to affect the experience?
No
Was the kind of experience
difficult to express in words?
Yes
How can I explain what it is
like to leave my body? I know that if I can, any other human can. Somehow, I
believe this is a very much natural ability that has been taken away from us.
We need to learn this again. I don't know why I can do this and most people can
not. Most religions in our society do not advocate this. In contrast, it is
considered to be evil and associated with mental illness. Having been raised
catholic, I dealt with this for many years! I got over it. Once I crossed the
bridge, I found it was beautiful and there was nothing to fear at all. In fact,
it makes you closer with God.
Did you
observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that
could be verified later?
No
Did
you notice how your 5 senses were working, and if so, how were they
different?
Yes
I can
put my hand through solid objects...but only with practice. It is difficult to
learn to remove yourself from the physical laws of gravity.
Did
you have any sense of altered space or time?
Uncertain
Did
you have a sense of knowing, special knowledge, universal order and/or
purpose?
Uncertain
Did
you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?
Uncertain
Were
you involved in or aware of a decision regarding your return to the body?
Yes
I can
chose when to return.
Did
you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience
that you did not have prior to the experience?
No
Did
you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?
Yes
It
makes my realize that there is something beyond the physical world!
How
has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices?
Career choices?
I am more
interested in ancient religions now that focus on out of body experiences.
Has
your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?
Yes
I see
the physical world differently than I did before. Somehow, it does not seem as
important. It just doesn't matter how much money you have or whatever. The
astral world is so powerful and does not cost a dime. We do not work in the
astral world. It is there free for our taking. We just need to explore it.
Too bad modern religion and various teachings has taken this ability away from
people. I am just a regular gal. Anyone can do this if I can.
Have
you shared this experience with others?
Yes
Most
people do not understand and they think it is really strange. I wish I could
talk to others that understand.
What
emotions did you experience following your experience?
I feel closer
to God.
What
was the best and worst part of your experience?
Best part was
the time that I meditated outside of my body and I experienced a "oneness with
the universe" I felt very loved and a wonderful and overwhelming experience of
the Chakras opening and uniting with the whole universe. Hard to describe!
Is
there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?
No. I
need to get some rest.
Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life,
medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience?
No
Did
the questions asked and information you provided accurately and comprehensively
describe your experience?
Yes
