Experience description:

This experience is so strange, because it happened simultaneously to both my husband and myself. Essentially, we awoke at the same time in a room that was not our bedroom. It was very dark and the only light we could see was a domed door far across the room that led to the bathroom. I actually said, "I hope I don't trip over anything on the way there." He started fumbling for the light on his bedside table, which hasn't even been plugged in for years, to turn it on so he could see. It turned back into our bedroom after a few seconds. It was so strange, and afterward we both described what we had seen to each other and we had seen the same thing! The bathroom door was very far away (which is normally isn't) and it was domed (when it normally is rectangular). Both of us saw the same thing. I wish someone could tell me what the heck happened. It's freaking both of us out!

            Was the experience dream like in any way?   It was dreamlike, but I saw things very vividly and my husband saw the same things!

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            Nervous that I would trip over something on the way to the door to the bathroom in my own bedroom

We have been on vacation and they say maybe we were in too many hotel rooms, but that still doesn't explain why we saw the SAME thing. My husband thinks that maybe his mother, who we were both very close to and who died a year ago this week, came to visit us.
