Experience description:

Hello, my name is Anita. Last night I woke up as I do each and every night to go to the toilet and check on my hubby and son. I was wide awake, I felt the breeze, looked at the clock, 2.00am saw the hallway night lamp on, heard my young son toss and turn and turned to look at my husband who seemed to be sitting up in bed. I thought this was unusual so I went to put my hand on him, he was just looking forward and in a unusual daze, when I went to touch him, my hand went straight through him, it scared me so I jumped up and saw him sitting up but his body was lying down, it was really weird and frightening. I first put my head in my pillow and screamed a little, then I gathered my thoughts and looked and touched him again and the same thing happened, I then felt his lie down body to feel if he was breathing and I pushed him until he moved, then everything went back to normal, his second body was gone.  When my husband woke up the next morning he had a bleeding nose. He complained of his sinus hurting on one side the night before, and took some lemsip (panadol with lemon in hot water) and seemed to settle all night. (Except for that above bit that happened). I wondered about it all night, I managed to go back to sleep, but I was unsettled. When he woke up I told him about it, and he couldn't explain it, I am not sure if I scared him as I have had many , many , many physic things happen to me in the past, where I have predicted things, seen things (looks like my grandfather twice) beside my bed, and seen people die in my dreams only for it to really happen, lots of eerie but wonderful experiences. I am known for my physic ability but I keep it quiet and personal, as it frightens people, or they either think I am a loony, which I am not. I have feelings and I always generally seem right, but I cant make myself feel or have them, they seem to happen when they feel like it, it is weird, if I have a feeling about something, I have learnt to listen to myself. I have never  heard of this before, I worry because I am scared something may happen to my husband, I have this weird feeling of maybe him being sick, I don't know, I want to understand it, can you help me please, I truly am not crazy. Please believe me.

Any associated medications or substances with the potential to affect the experience?     No      

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? No       all I can say is that it was real, and I was wide awake.

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          No      

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?           Wide awake very assertive, I could even hear the kangaroos chewing the grass outside hopping about and a security car driving about, I WAS AWAKE.

            Was the experience dream like in any way?   Not on my behalf but when I looked at my husband it then seemed to put doubt in my mind he seemed dreamy. He appeared focused and distant, not aware of me at all.

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     No response            not me and my husband does not know about this. But I definitely saw two of him, one lying down the other sitting up through his lying down body.

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            Fright I thought he died.

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?           Only outside noises.

LOCATION DESCRIPTION:  Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing creatures?    No            He was next to me in bed  he has no recollection at all.

Did you become aware of future events?       Uncertain      Although I didn't have this and my husband did, I had a feeling he was unwell.

Were you involved in or aware of a decision regarding your return to the body?       No
