Experience description:

When I was seventeen I was walking home after realizing I'd stayed out a bit to late with a guy I was in love with. I got on my bike to go home but my tire popped in front of a dollar general. So I got off to walk while walking I saw two men in front of me. I got scared and all I remember after that was looking down at my phone. Next thing I know I felt like I was floating. I watched myself walk up a concrete paved ramp and weakly plead for an employee in the parking lot to help me. Then I saw myself sitting in the store on an orange crate with two ladies standing in front of me asking for my mother's phone number I remember watching my self give it to them over and over again. I kept repeating what happened? My memory blanked and I saw memories,  happy memories from my childhood. The I saw an unearthly bright son I see my self in a White lawn chair  on a deck in front of the ocean and through the light as I lean over to kiss a man a little girl runs through the light smiling and happy, she looked like she could have either been me around 2 or maybe my future child the light gets smaller and smaller until I can see my self again screaming crying, then I here a voice say " it's okay it will be okay,  I see myself look towards the voice and it was my mother gripping my hand. Everything went black again. I wake up and though it was all a dream,  as my eyes adjusted I saw a cross on the wall I finally came back into consciousness and didn't know whwhere I was.

At the time of your experience was there an associated life-threatening event?   No 

Was the experience difficult to express in words?  Yes     Yes,  it was like pure peace like floating on a cloud.

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness?           When I was watching myself

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness?      Less consciousness and alertness than normal   I could see everything but it was like me watching  a movie.

Please compare your vision during the experience to your everyday vision that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience.   Prior to the experience I was grounded, during the experience I felt like I was floating.

Please compare your hearing during the experience to your everyday hearing that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience.   I could see the vibrations of the words spoken around me.  It was like listening to a distant movie.

Did you see or hear any earthly events that were occurring during a time that your consciousness / awareness was apart from your physical / earthly body?   Yes   Yes I saw my self on and off through the experience, I saw and heard the people around me.

What emotions did you feel during the experience?   Love,  peace, and joy.  

Did you pass into or through a tunnel?   No  

Did you see an unearthly light?   Yes   An overly bright sun

Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice?   No

Did you become aware of past events in your life during your experience?   Yes   Memories from when I was little.
