Alok D's Experience

Experience description:

The out of body experience to me have been several and very frequent. Hence I really do not know which one should I mention. Every experience has its own peculiar part....some were extremely frightening, others gave me lot of knowledge about life and existence, in some of these experiences i visited space and could make out that planets are revolving and I could hear the cosmic sound among them...I have been literally uplifted.

But there were few common things among all these experiences which I am narrating down below :

1. Normally the night when it is going to happen, the indication in the body and the signal in the brain starts coming from the evening itself. I get frightened and avoid sleeping, but can't help it.

2. There is a tremendous speedy circular energy sound which happens in the brain as such the brain is churning circularly extremely fast and would explode with a whistle in the ear.

3. During this time since i am absolutely conscious, I sit and then see my body laying back in the fashion i was sleeping and when I put my hand across anything may be material, or my wife or my kid my hand passes them without them coming to know that I am trying to touch them. Actually this hand is not body hand but the hand of the being who has got up while leaving the body aback in the same way.

4. I get frightened that in case i do no connect back to my body I might go to death and then never be able to come back and join my family with my body, so I lay back in the same fashion as per my body and then chant few words of the great mantra of my religion and then i get connected.

5. I have noticed that in case I hold my wife's body, part of the hand, or any touch, during sleep, then sometimes I can avoid OBEs.

6. I get to know a lot about existence during these OBEs..and this knowledge no one is sharing with me, it is that I come to know in my brains...I still wonder how...

7. One important thing, when this actually starts happening the entire body becomes stable like a stone, i cant move any part initially and then when i try to really move,,,,the body remains same and some spiritual body of mine moves.....this is how i come to know i have been disconnected.

Any associated medications or substances with the potential to affect the experience?     No

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? No

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          No

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?           I was absolutely normal and conscious and know exactly what was happening surrounding me.

            Was the experience dream like in any way?   No. Its been happening so often and have happened so frequently that I know it is an absolute fact.

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     Yes     As mentioned above in question 4

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            Sometimes frightening, since I feel that If I do not connect back asap then I would go for permanent death and that I would loose my family and they would loose me. Who would take care of them, as I am the only earning person in the family. Now since the experiences have been very frequent, I have told my wife that this is what happens to me and in case sometimes you get up in the morning, looking at me laying dead, do not fear I would be trying to return back but make sure no one touches my body and you take me to hospital and commence all medical emergency practices.

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?           Yes...A circular fashion churning sound happens in the brain and a very clear pitched whistle in the ear as though something is flying.....with great speed and to a great height.

LOCATION DESCRIPTION: Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing creatures?    Yes            Most of the times I see myself located in some kind of locations where an entire event happens. sometimes familiar locations and sometimes absolutely unfamiliar locations like some ruined fort.

Did you see a light?           Uncertain      Only 2 times I have seen light out of my hundreds of OBEs, this light seemed to be a orange-ish, yellow light rays eminating from a centre dark focal point.....and spreading all across.

Did you meet or see any other beings?           Yes     Yes once my deceased mother and once my deceased grand father ( maternal )

Did you experiment while out of the body or in another, altered state? Yes

Yes as i have mentioned it is very frequently happening, so it has happened in other locations also.

In context to moving a physical object while in the astral/ etheric universe, i confirm i tried once waking up the servant sleeping next to me, once waking up my wife sleeping next to me, but i was amazed to see as i had spread my hands to their body,,,,my hands were crossing their body and i was not been able to really touch them, or else I should say they were not getting touched.

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?          No

Did you notice how your 5 senses were working, and if so, how were they different?          Uncertain            I could see, hear ( at times ), could not touch anything really and cant make a voice....( cant speak )

Did you have a sense of knowing, special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?    No response      Yes. Most of these knowledge were pertaining to life and existence. I have come to know a lot and when i discuss this, people thing i m a big fool and have gone crazy. Hence now I keep silent.

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?             As I told you, I never left my body altogether back, as I was afraid that in case entire connection go away, i would then not be able to connect back. Hence some connection is important, hence most of the time below my abdomen I never got away. Only the upper portion I disconnected and later on get it connected back after say 1-2 mths.

Were you involved in or aware of a decision regarding your return to the body?       Yes     Yes I get connected back with my full consciousness and its my decision. If I want I may not return at all and get away and leave the body and go. But I cant do this to my family and hence I return back and get connected.

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?   Yes     I really know what is death and how this person who gets dead must be wandering till he does not get next life again.

How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?       Now that I have experienced all this, I have come to know the purpose of soul life and I follow that to the extend possible.

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?         Yes     Please see response as given in paragraph 22

Have you shared this experience with others?         Yes     Yes. I did that earlier a lot but later on i kept things to myself and my wife as most of the people, think I am mad and a complete fool. I think these all folks are missing something great and absolutely different.

What emotions did you experience following your experience? Nothing. Except a fear that in case anytime during the experience if I do not connect back, who would take care of my family. I get worried badly.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?      Once it took me almost 5 mths trying to connect and i could not do it...I was terribly horrified and was looking at my daughter and wife with lot of sadness but then i again slept over my body in the same manner and prayed god please let me fix up again with my body...chanted the mantra and then up again I was with my body.

Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?        Not Exactly.

Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience?         I have already mentioned it keeps happening to me frequently
