EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:I

My experience is somewhat different than other NDEs, as I didn't experience it while dying. It happened to me involuntary while sleeping and without losing signs of life. Since 2007, about a year before the experience, most of the nights when I slept these strange states occurred to me. It was like I would fall asleep and a few hours later I would find myself in this state between sleep and awake. I could not move my body or talk, but mentally I was completely awake.  I would hear sounds and see lights for a few seconds and then would get out of that state. This happened most of the nights until that night in winter 2008. Every thing happened to fast.

About 4am I "woke up" into the same trance state again, but much stronger. I had a very strong feeling of ecstasy. It was so strong that I felt I will never get out of this feeling. I heard a whistle sound that was getting louder and louder. Suddenly I felt something like a rope coming out from middle of my forehead. At the same time I could completely feel that my soft, spiritual body is gradually exiting from my head and neck and shoulders and chest and legs, one by one. It was like pulling a napkin from the middle of a book. At the same time that my soul body was exiting from my body, I was hearing a whistle-like sound. After a few seconds, I found myself in my bedroom, above where I was sleeping and above my body. I didn't know that I have exited my body. Suddenly I heard a very loud sound like a thunder coming from sky. In that state, I felt that the sky opened. I was in my bedroom and could not see the sky at all but had this feeling. This sound made me turn my attention to the window.

When I looked out from the window I saw a light with a pretty blue color. The light entered my bedroom from top of the window. This light was flickering fast. When I saw that light and heard that bang,  I ran into the guest room.  I was still unaware that I was not in my body. But before I got to my bedroom door, I suddenly found myself in the middle of the guest room. But I felt touching the room door with my soul body and quickly passing through it. I was not aware that I am out of body, so I got scared and went to wake up my parents and brother. But when I got there I looked at my hands and legs and they were like a white cloud. When my hand touched their body it passed through their body, like a cloud. By seeing this scene I got really worried and scared and knew that something strange is going on.  But still was not aware that I am not in my physical body.  When I was walking in the guest room I could see every thing behind me as well, and I had a 360 degrees vision. Then I found myself in my bedroom again, and saw that blue light again.  I involuntarily returned to my body. It has been about 8 years since then, but it has been rare to get to that state again, and I don't know why.

What emotions did you feel during the experience? Unknown and amazement

Did you see an unearthly light?   Yes, a blue light that was flickering

Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice?   I heard a voice I could not identify. I heard a very loud bang like a thunder so much so that I felt that sky opened up.

Did you encounter or become aware of any beings who previously lived on earth who are described by name in religions (for example: Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, etc.)?   No   

Did you encounter or become aware of any deceased (or alive) beings?   No   

Did you become aware of past events in your life during your experience?   No   

Did you seem to enter some other, unearthly world?   A clearly mystical or unearthly realm. I had completely entered an unknown and soft state.

Did time seem to speed up or slow down?   Everything seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or lost all meaning. Movement of time had no meaning.

Did you suddenly seem to understand everything?   No

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?   Yes, in the room and body of my family

Did you come to a border or point of no return?   No

Did scenes from the future come to you?  No  

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness suggesting that there either is (or is not) continued existence after earthly life (“life after death”)?   Yes, it was clear that there is another world

During your experience, did you encounter any specific information / awareness that God or a supreme being either does (or does not) exist?   Yes, I felt that light and thunder sound are from spiritual being or beings, or at least was sent to me from a higher being.

Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience?   Uncertain. I used to see dreams that came true, but maybe I am seeing them a bit more often.
